Defective.
Came defective and not working properly. The flash base contacts were shorting with the movable spring clip. I pulled out the spring clip and bent it away from shorting with contacts. Still can happen though at any time.

Off camera flash cord review
Item works perfectly with my camera. Build quality is same if not better than name brand. And price was also a better option than name brand.

Flimsy mount flash shoe cord.
Mounted the cord on a flip bracket. Put the flash on the shoe and it rocks left and right. Afraid the flash will snap the shoe off. Cello & Canon off shoe cords are more substantial. No rocking. More solid construction.
