This clock is great, it’s super simple to operate, with a large display. The best thing about it though, is that it is battery operated and has a dimmable light (A small dial on the side), so you can see the display throughout the night - it can be on very low so it does not disturb, or quite bright if you prefer it that way. I have been searching for one like this for my husband for ages and he’s really pleased - they are hard to find! Unfortunately it’s not a 24 hour clock - it just has am and pm, but that’s not too much of a problem. The dimmable back light is just a normal colour - no blues or anything - kind of what you would get if you dimmed a greyish light bulb... The alarm is also loud enough, but not so loud it blows your ears off! All in all a great clock, but definitely too big for travelling - if you like to travel light - it’s slightly smaller than a brick size! But a great bedside alarm clock.

It took me 2 minutes to set up!!! A miracle...so easy ..the screen is a good size, the alarm loud enough but not annoying, the backlight goes from off to bright, the alarm itself is so simple to do... everything I wanted in a case big enough not to lose indoors, but easy to pack for travelling. The settings are a good size for anyone with stuff fingers, and the case has a pleasing shape to look at, and hold, nothing sticking out anywhere to catch anything on..best clock I've had in years!!

I purchased this clock as the reviews said the alarm sound wasn't too shocking and it emitted no light if required. I can't sleep with any light in the room at all so thought I'd give it a try. My only concern was that the battery would run out with no warning in the night and therefore I wouldn't be woken up for work in the morning. The clock is great! The digits are easy to read, it's super easy to set up the time and the alarm, the alarm wakes me effectively but isn't scarily loud, and it can be set to a 24 hour clock instead of 12 hour (although I'm still not sure how I achieved this). I also now have an answer re the battery life and what happens. I've has the clock for nearly a month and yesterday morning instead of beeping intermittently it sounded like a game of out of tune space invaders going off and the digits were faded. So I changed the batteries and this morning it was back to normal. It takes 4 AAs so keep them stocked up! So in a nutshell, yes I'd recommend this for people who don't want a phone beside the bed and can't stand light in the night, but batteries look like they need changing monthly and you have to set up the time again when the batteries are changed which is a bit of a pain. Thus the four stars.

Such a simply Clock really dependable very easy to see . easy to set up there is a slot for 4 X AA batteries but in reality it works perfect with just 2x AA batteries no need to use the 4 batteries because 2 are enough . Easy to set the time all good 5 stars would buy again in a heartbeat . hope my review was helpful .

They have thought of everything. I love that I can dim the lights to any brightness I want, and turn the light off altogether. The alarm is nice and loud, lasts for a long time, and it is a beeping sound that is not too horrible to wake up to. This alarm is super easy to set. My only complaint is that there is no 24 hours option, there is only a 12 hour clock with a pm marker. It means you might accidentally set the alarm for a pm time if you are in a rush. Someone wrote that this is good as a travel alarm clock - I would disagree. It is too big and heavy for a travel alarm, but as a bedside alarm it is perfect.

This product is great for anybody with little ones who just don't like staying in their own bed! My daughter creeps in whenever she wakes up and this will only get worse as the mornings get lighter. So she now has a clock with bold numbers on and knows she can't get up until the first number is a 7. I suppose the clock will be equally suitable for elderly as the numbers are so clear. Its really easy to use and doesn't have lots of extras, so it's easy for little ones to control and they don't need any other technology in their room to know when it's time to get up. We also go camping in the summer months and it will be really useful as it is battery powered, so it will definitely come into good use. Handy little clock

The screen is unreadable even looking straight at it from arms length. The only way to read it is to look down at it from above. When picking up the clock using the left hand its too easy to accidentally turn the alarm on/off They claim that the clock was designed based on feedback, clearly a unreadable screen and a poorly positioned alarm on/off button makes it a really terrible design. Did nobody looked at the finished product? The clock is a bit heavy but that okay. On the plus side setting the time/alarm is easy. You an select 12/24h display but it only displays PM and not AM. This is the 2nd digital alarm clock that I have to return. Both due to unreadable screens. My old digital alarm clock I bought in 2014 from Amazon is viewable from all angles. Looks like price has gone up but quality has gone down. When my old digital clock breaks I will use an old mobile phone as a alarm.
