NO-AD Sun Care Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 30 16 oz

I just now chose it; even though I had used it before and nothing else seemed to work as well for me. I am a red head and have vitiligo, which is the losing of one's pigmentation of the skin, and I was light skinned before loss of pigmentation and sunburned very easily. I just want to tell you that I am not the kind of person who will say something that is not true about any product. I also won't say a product is good when It isn't. I go by my experiences and not what people want me to say. If I don't like the product, I won't say it is good. and if people can't take the truth, too bad. We should be honest about everything, because lies catch up to you. I would not use any other sunblock as long as I can get no ad sunblock. I cannot find it here where I live, so I went online to Amazon.com and found it there and am very glad I did. I am not saying that it will work for everyone, because everyone's skin tone is different from mine etc. I am just saying that it works for me.

UVA protection - just what the doctor ordered! I like that this applies easily and doesn't feel greasy at all. Soaks right in like a good lotion. No fragrance, either, so I don't have to worry about smelling up my office at work. I keep a bottle there too, for those (several) days that I rushed out of the house in the morning without putting any on my arms. I live in San Diego where it's sunny a good part of the year, so this is vital pretty much all the time. This is a big bottle and is going to last a very long time. I looked up the code on the bottom and went on their website to find out the expiration date. They say it's effective for 3 years from manufacture date, and mine was made in April 2016, so I have 2 years to use this. Seems reasonable.

I love NoAd because it protects well from sunburn. It is hard to find in stores around here. Will get to use it in Florida next week.

From a true Floridian, this is the only brand I buy. Full coverage and I do not get burnt. When out on an all day excursion on the boat I use the 30spf or 50 spf and have never had an issue even when in the water. I may reapply once or twice but that is after being directly in the sun and water after a few hours. May not be necessary but I personally feel I may need it because I burn easily. Sensitive to my skin and I use on my face without any breakouts.

I don't know if I can buy another sunscreen after buying No-Ad. There are a few reasons for this. First is that the scent is not obnoxious, I don't enjoy suncreens that smell very strongly, even ones that have the artificial coconut or banana. Second, the sunscreen itself spreads very smoothly, I've noticed no issues with leaving white streaks behind, or looking overly greasy. Third is the VALUE. You would be hard pressed to find sunscreen in this volume for this cheap. It really is worth it. I have only used this stuff on my body, not my face, so I can't speak to how it would work on your face.

Years ago, I went in search of a one-size-fits-all sunscreen for my family, and cost per ounce, the No-Ad brand is the most affordable I could find. We live at the beach and have used this for many years, finding it very effective at preventing sunburn. Its consistency is pretty thick, and it does sting if it gets in your eyes, so we don't use it on our faces. A single bottle lasts a long time for us. If you're looking for the most bang for your buck, this sunscreen is a great choice! I was, however, disappointed in the way Amazon shipped it -- The box was much larger box than necessary, with no packing material, and the bottle leaked all over the box. I'm grateful there was no other item packed with it that could've been ruined.

I use this every day. Male. 81 years young. My skin, face and arms, are in much better shape using this product. I am in Naples Florida and out on my boat in the sun every week, some times twice a week. It is inexpensive and it works perfectly. It is not easily available in stores in my area; one used to carry it but now only carries the higher-margin sun screen. Easy to use container. Nothing to break as far as I can tell.

If you are like me and wonder why sunscreen has gotten so expensive in recent years, then No-Ad may be the solution. I purchased this after finding out that Consumer Reports gave them a high rating, and that a cheapskate beach bum friend of mine relies on it. Their product provides the same protection that the more expensive name brands do (so far as I can tell, anyway) and the price is right. It would be nice if they offered it in smaller containers as well as the 16 ounce size.
