The product is exactly as described and just what I wanted. Unfortunately the product shipped to me was damaged, either in shipment or before - hard to say. The packing appeared adequate, as far as I could tell. This is a very heavy piece of metal and it's difficult to imagine how it could have been warped or bent in transit. My best guess is that it was a manufacturing defect which the packer failed to notice. UPDATE: Seller was civil and cooperative about the defect. Problem resolved. Would deal with seller again.

Needed to fish in 100' of water depending on the current. One lb lead weights made well.

Just what I wanted

I am not fisherman. I am using this weight to drive a wooden clock. Every other 5 lb weight I found is stamped or embossed on the body of the weight. This is stamped on the bottom, so is not visible when the clock is on the wall - exactly what I wanted

I am using these as weights in my grandfather clock and they work perfectly 😂. About 1/4 the price of clock weights and I think they look nice! Just research the model number on the back of your clock movement and find the correct weights for each. I could spray paint them brass but I am more of a silver person anyway. So glad I thought of this! Take that, capitalism.
