I actually installed this on a Sheetrock wall in my living room that backed up to a closet with a receptacle to plug into. I installed high on the wall and used it to plug in a door chime with blinking light for a battery operated doorbell. The living room view looks so nice and professional, and the cord is not visible because runs along the back of the adjacent closet shelf to a power source.

Great for nightstand upgrade
Got some beat-up nightstands on Fbook Marketplace and gave them a refresh. These outlets were a perfect upgrade and make that behind-the-bed outlet much more usable and accessible. All 4 plugs work great.

Measure twice and cut once!
This worked well for what I needed. I purchased this to put behind a tv in a built out wall. The face of the plug doesn’t exceed the side of the box by much. So, just make sure to measure twice and cut once. Or you’ll have a gap. Nice product for a good price.
