Great quality product worth the price.

I've eaten my weight in Uncle Ben's rice for 60 years, and I'm here to tell you, it tastes great! It is parboiled, which simply means that the rice is mostly cooked before it is packaged. All you have to do is add some water, maybe a pinch of salt or some butter, and in about 15 minutes you have perfect rice, with a rich, nutty taste that is far more like the rice grown in Louisiana.Amazon has a good price on this product, and I am glad because it's easier to have it delivered in a couple of days, than to lug it home from the grocery store! And when I walk into the kitchen and smell that earthy, rich fragrance ... wow, do my taste buds give me the "hurry up!" signal. Thanks to everyone who is part of the Uncle Ben's family of great rices!

Love, love, love this rice. Cooks up perfectly every time, with each grain of rice separated from the others. Very large bag that lasts and lasts. If your looking for sticky rice, this is not it. But I love how this rice turns out great every time. Tip: Let the rice sit, still covered but off the heat for five minutes after it is done cooking if you like your rice to NOT stick together. Then just take the lid off, fluff gently and Enjoy!!!!

I grew up on Uncle Ben's. Good flavor and all (though this bag will last a long time).

We love this rice and it is getting harder to find at the grocery stores in large boxes. I will purchase again from this seller as it was packaged well and was shipped very quickly.

I have used Uncle Ben's rice for over 40 years. Suddenly, the rice pilaf I made, with chicken broth and water, tasted like I had made plain rice boiled in water. I thought maybe I didn't brown the noodles right or maybe there was a problem with the chicken broth as a few batches didn't taste horrible, but I just got a new bag of rice, and it tasted the way it is supposed to, so its not the rice per se, its the stock at Ultra Corner might not be the freshest.Of course, there are no dates on the bags...

I buy both the long grain converted white and the brown rice and by far the best tasting rice out there. We did blind taste tests with 3-4 different brands of both white and brown and Uncle Ben's came out on top every time!!! For extra flavorful rice add 1 chicken boullion cube for every cup of water and a tblspn of butter....rice is extra delicious!!
