I have a Canik TP9 Elite SC (yes, subcompact) and I wanted to add a tactical light without spending hundreds of dollars on a TLR or other tactical light. I managed to find a super sweet deal here on desertcart for less than $25 but the light was sadly too long for my short Picatinny rails. After taking precise measurements and scouring ALL of the internet (not just desertcart), I came upon THIS RAIL. The quality of this product is immaculate. It’s sleek with a gloss finish and fastens down TIGHT. Unlike other products, there aren’t any leveling issues. Take a leveler to it if you don’t believe me! It worked PERFECTLY for a gun that has next to no accessories available at this time due to it being so “new” to the gun scene. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A RAIL EXTENDER FOR A SUBCOMPACT, LOOK NO FURTHER! This thing works perfect for the few (7) guns that I have, rifles included. The takedown is super easy. It would be wicked if this company came out with a quick release version just because it would make it that much neater. But honestly, who would need it?! STOP READING THIS AND BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!! 😭💙 Review: Not built to spec - rail too large - The rail is too large (not to spec - measured by micrometer) and nothing fits. It is sturdy and not too heavy for is size, so I would have been very happy if it was actually functional. EDIT: I was going to return this and try a similar item instead, but given the price I decided to see if I could modify this to make it work. I was able to carefully grind it down a bit (something not to be taken lightly since this is aluminum - so don't try this at home!) and it works now, but I shouldn't have had to do this to begin with and now the riser looks ugly and beat up.
