Best dot markers ever! Fun, easy, washable, and a dream come true for parents.
We love our Do A Dot art markers! My youngest daughter (3 years old) uses these at her preschool and always comes home with the most colorful imaginative artwork. We have many different Do a Dot sets in our home including a set of Brilliant do a dots that we still use which we have from my oldest daughter who is now 8 years old, so they last a very long time! For our latest activity we took coffee filters and โdottedโ them and then sprayed them with water. This gave the coffee filters a tye dye look that turned out amazing! This was a huge hit for our daughter and her little friends. The possibilities are endless, but if you ever run out of ideas, I recommend going on Pinterest and searching do a dot art projects. There are plenty! As a parent I appreciate how easy it is to do arts and crafts with these dot markers, because they make set up and clean up so easy and clean. They are washable, but I recommend using a tablecloth for your kitchen table, and treat it as any other art project. If you donโt want your kids to get paint on their new school clothes, donโt let them dot in their new school clothes. We have dotted our clothes, and hands, and arms, and hairโฆ.:) but havenโt had any real problems getting the paint off. Definitely a hit in our home! I highly recommend these to anyone, especially if you have little ones who love arts and crafts!

Wonderful for kids!!
These are so much fun for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She really enjoys these. They seem to last a long time. They don't make a mess. They are really easy to use. I like to print coloring pages off from the internet onto cardstock. They are fun for our granddaughter to color. These can be used as dots and also as a paint by moving the marker across the paper in a line.

Great clean art activity
I love these markers. I just bought a set to try after seeing them described on a homeschool blog. They're great. The markers are nice, big, fat markers. When you press them lightly on the paper, they make little dots of color. Even pumping them I couldn't make a huge bunch of ink flow from them, which is really nice. My three year old and six year old really enjoyed them. I let the three year old just free play with them, and the six year old used them to write out her sight words. I'm also going to use them for the three year old in letter and number tracing. The instructions say on them that even if the tips dry out you can rehydrate them by moistening the tip in water. I haven't had to try that yet, though. Usually I have trouble with the three year old not getting the caps back on the markers, but he did much better with these. Maybe the large size helped with that. I much prefer them over the Crayola 3ct. Washable First Marks Pink, Yellow, Purple (Color may vary) which don't have lids and made a HUGE mess. I also found that they washed up easily. No problems getting them off of furniture or out of clothing. I bought the primary set to try out and may order one of the other sets just for variety. If you look at the other sets, though, note that the fluorescent set is NOT labeled washable. That's the only one--the primary, brilliant, and shimmer sets all say washable. I'm looking forward to using these for a long time.

Love these, and much prefer them to the Alex Toy version
We got a set of these dot paints and a set of the Alex Dots and Dashes Paints at the same time. The Do-A-Dots definitely win. The bottles are soft enough for my toddler (2 years old) to squeeze them, while the Alex ones are too hard and too thick for him to use as easily. Some of the Alex ones also leaked, which is kind of a train wreak even if they are washable. My son loves to paint with these on blank paper and in the two Do-A-Dot coloring books that we have. We use them on Melissa & Doug drawing pads, which works fine, though these can soak through that paper if he really puts a lot of paint down. The Do-A-Dot books have quite thick paper that is great for paints. I imagine they'd work fine with fingerpainting paper, though we haven't tried that. I find these fun to paint with, too! You can use them to make lines, not just dots, so it's a fantastic alternative to poster paints or finger paints if the mess of those is too much to deal with. These paints are washable in the sense that they come out of clothes in the laundry without extra effort on my part. However, they do leave light stains on my son's skin when we just use a wipe to wash his hands - they require actual soap and a washcloth to clean all the way off skin. It doesn't bother me if he has light paint stains on him until bathtime, since he's often coated in much worse stuff. However, they're probably not a good thing to play with right before church or something! Overall, I highly recommend these, especially if you have a younger toddler who enjoys arts and crafts but isn't quite coordinated enough for full-blown painting projects yet.

Bright Colors, Easy for Little Hands, Mostly Mess-Free
Weโve used these Do A Dot Art! markers multiple times now, and theyโve become one of our go-to art supplies for toddler craft time. The rainbow colors are very vibrant and show up clearly on regular paper, which keeps kids engaged and excited to keep creating. From my experience, the size is perfect for small hands. My toddler can grip them independently without struggling, and the sponge tip makes it easy to create clean, round dots without needing precision. Itโs great for practicing hand-eye coordination and early fine motor skills. Clean-up has been relatively easy. The ink washes off skin quickly with soap and water, and I havenโt had staining issues on our table so far. That said, I do recommend placing an extra sheet of paper underneath, because if your child presses too hard, the ink can soak through thinner paper. Pros: โข Very bright, bold colors โข Easy for toddlers to hold and use independently โข Encourages creativity and motor skill development โข Washable from skin and most surfaces Cons: โข Can get messy if squeezed too hard โข Ink may bleed through thin paper โข Caps need to be closed tightly to prevent drying Overall, this is a fun, low-prep art option for toddlers and preschoolers. Itโs not completely mess-proof, but compared to paint, itโs much easier to manage and still gives that colorful, creative experience.

Fun that lasts, a little expensive
I had to purchase 2 different sets of these, plus an additional, single black in order to get all of the needed colors for the Thanksgiving themed dot dittos that I had for the little ones at Thanksgiving. The actual product is great and the kids have a ball with them, even the older kids. It is perfect for the little ones who don't have the dexterity to color. I love the dittos that have pictures made out of circles to use the dot markers. These also last for multiple uses. The only thing I don't like about this product is that because I had to buy 2 separate sets to get the needed colors, I got some duplicates, which ended up being a costly craft. Also, I needed black (which wasn't included in either set), so spent almost $5 for 1 individual black dot marker. It isn't the fault of the maker, but I needed to have certain colors for the themed pictures. I hope that I don't have to purchase any more of these any time soon as I have spent enough of my hard earned money on dot markers and have lots of them! They arrived in perfect condition and highly recommend this for age 2 and up.

Wonderful
Vibrant colors, washes off easily, easy for my toddler to use. She loves not only doing art with these but also matching the lids to the correct color of bottle.

Box is slightly torn
When I opened the package, the markers have already fallen out of the box. There is a small tear at the side of the box. Even though the box and markers look new, cant be sure if it is really a new item. Tried one of the marker, the ink didnt come through completely. Hopefully it will be okie.
