Boosted Unusable Signal!!!
I had a 50 foot cable from a receiver to a rear projector. My old PJ was a Mitsubishi HC4000. I finished my basement sealing the HDMI cable in the wall and at the same time I upgraded to a 4K projector. To my dismay, the cable didn’t work. After calling tech support, I found that the signal wasn’t strong enough, because the HDMI cable that came with it worked fine. I purchased this with the far-shot hope of somehow boosting the signal to make it work. So, I placed a sort HDMI at the beginning, put the booster in, then the 50 foot cable... It didn’t work. Then I tried plugging the 50 foot cable into the receiver, then at the end of the run I plugged the booster in, followed by another short HDMI cable before plugging it into the PJ. I can’t believe it, but it worked. This item really saved me.I even bought another 50 HDMI cable being convinced that this wouldn’t work, but IT DID. I’m very happy with this product at this point.

Works exactly as advertised.
I had tried to run HDMI to a monitor 60 foot cable, and it flashed the signal intermittently, added this unit to the end, and unfortunately the only cable I had added another 10 feet of connection and it all works perfectly. The only thing I failed to notice is that the unit is powered by USB cable, I would have preferred it was just a 110>

Seems to work well when it allows a signal to pass
Update. I've tried repeatedly to get this to work reliably, but my long 4k HDMI feed works better without it.I have a dedicated HT room in the rec level, and I've had ~40' HDMI cable routed during construction (4k capable). Hoping to maximize signal throughput/strength, I purchased this signal booster, as I'm running 4k devices (Xbox One X, 4k blu-ray player, and 4k projector). I'm using a new Marantz SR7013 with the latest firmware update as the media hub. The issue I've found is that this booster, most of the time just doesn't allow the video signal to pass; as in, turning everything on, the video signal doesn't reach the projector ('searching for signal'). I've tested by removing the signal booster, and the video reaches the projector without an issue - but without it, the video quality does seem compromised slightly (this is highly subjective), so when the video signal is passed by the booster, it does seem to work fine at least. But it let's the signal pass rarely, so I've stopped using it.

My Opinion does not count
We returned it. It was one of 4 solutions that did not work for our system. Suspect something else was wrong, not this product. Finally had to go with a WiFi wireless system to go 100 feet from computer to projector which worked fine but was 4 times more expensive.I suggest try it if you think you need it. Can be returned.

Conference Room Solved
We have 45' of HDMI through the wall to our video conference bar unit. This solved all connectivity issues. I ran a 10' cord to the HDMI In and then the 45' through the wall.

Fix 4K Display Problems. No Need to Replace HDMI Cable
This little gadget amplifies and extends your sugnal along your existing HDMI cable. No need to cut old HDMI cable out of the wall or ceiling and install a new HDMI cable. If you're upgrading from 1080 to 4K and are having video display problems, try this device before you get into expensive remodeling and cable replacement options. It did the job for me.

Don’t waste money on this.
Absolutely crap. Didn’t fix a thing. Still weak signal. Waste of money.
