I read the reviews since I've never worn the Cavalone brand before and wasn't sure about fit. Most reviewers were saying this line runs small, and to order a size, or even two, up. I ordered two sizes up, and they were way too large. Thanks to Amazon's great return policy, I was able to easy return them and ordered the next size down, which was still one size up from my regular European size of 39/40. They fit perfectly and I was thrilled. Someone wrote it's difficult to slide your foot into the boot, but I didn't have any trouble with that. (and I usually do have trouble sliding my feed into boots that don't have a zipper) These boots are SUPER stylish and SUPER comfortable! Everywhere I wear them, I get tons of compliments on how cool and different they are. The color is fantastic -- kind of a silver/goldish. Goes with anything. And they are so comfortable. I've actually worn them on trips all day that involve lots of walking and have no issues whatsoever, even though with many other shoes I will have foot pain issues if it's not a brand made for comfort. Love these boots and will probably order a few more different pairs before the season is over. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great look. Fit fine. Not leather. *by L***D on January 21, 2018* I like the look of these. They arrived with stuff marks, and they are definitely not leather. I did not have any trouble getting my foot in. I wear 8.5 usually, and I got the size 8-9. I do not like the way the toe rounds up, yet overall the boot is very attractive. I purchased the gunmetal navy. Looks gunmetalish- no navy tone at all. I like the boots. I am on the fence about returning due to scuffs and non leather material advertised as leather. They are fun looking and comfortable. They are very hard- no give. I do have extra room by both the heel and toe area with thin socks. Also, if you do not want to wear the rhinestone boot belty-things they come off super easy and give the boot a different look. I think they got scuffed as they were shipped by amazon in thin plastic slipping sleeve over the actual shoe box. I could see where they could get roughed up in transit this way. they should have put the shoe box inside of an actual box. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I'm so glad I did *by M***Y on November 15, 2016* Based on previous reviews, I ordered a size larger than normal, and I'm so glad I did! They fit perfectly now! I've gotten lots of compliments on them. I did need to purchase a cushion for the soles, as they were pretty hard, but that's par for the course with boots, I think.
