occult symbolism in bible
Much like the NKJV from this publisher they added a nod to their occult ties. Adding 6 pentagrams on the clasp of the bible. I would not recommend this publisher to anyone. Buy from a publisher that doesn't push esoteric occultism.

Great wedding gift
I got this bible for a wedding gift for the bride i'm conducting the ceremony for. Its a great quality bible and the pages in the front to write down the memories of the ceremony is great for keeping a record of your ceremony.

its a nice compact bible but it is not !! large print ! The print is the same as my other bible which is small , the pages are brighter which does make easier to see but as I stated the print is not any larger than the standard small print ,photo taken 10 unches away from book

Great quality
Super durable, love the snap cover. Pages are thick enough not to see the other side’s words print through. Gilding also seems very durable, perfect size to travel with, although, if you’re looking for the smallest Bible possible, the snap flip cover or zipper is probably not the best choice. Overall, exactly what I expected 👍🏾I will say, TN Bibles always have the best paper quality in my opinion

Great Gift!
The Bible is in Great Condition and looks beautiful. A friend recently eloped and I wanted to give her something to make her marriage feel valuable, as many people have tried to come against them. I can’t wait to give this to her 💕

Perfect size!
Perfect for my daily Bible reading and great size to take to church. Travel friendly in that it can come with you and not be bulky like my large reference Bible.

Comparable to Holman Compact Large Print
Can't beat the price of roughly 7 to $8. The synthetic leather imitates a grained goat-skin like leather which is surprisingly pretty close. End pages made of construction paper, foot notes located at end of 2nd column as opposed to inline, font is dark, red letter, and no pronunciation marks (which I personally like). The golden page gilding is not as nice as some, more of a darker bronze finish. This Thomas Nelson compact large print is very similar to Holman Publishers', the dimensions are fairly close.

Great size text & style - BUT INACCURATE
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Bible and very disappointed because of it. I have my first Bible also by Thomas Nelson from 1985, which is somewhat worse for wear and needs a new cover & some binding. So was happy to purchase another Thomas Nelson Bible ( current purchase) on the pretext it's a reliable source.Unfortunately to my dismay ALOT of the scriptures have been changed or completely ommitted or with additions that don't make grammatical sense. As far as I am concerned, I purchased a KJV Bible, NOT an NKJV or NIV Bible, so why has the text been changed? To the point that some of the paragraphs don't 100% make sense. My original 1985 KJV on the right with orange highlights please read verse 18 & then read the current Thomas Nelson verse 18 & see how the verse is changed & almost makes no sense the way it is phrased. In addition there are grammatical errors. When we speak of God & the Word refers to Him ( God) it's capital "H" NOT common "h". Words like forever is one word based context yet in Daniel 4:34 this Bible has "for ever". - 2 separate words.Proverbs 27:16 ( my original KJV 1985 Bible- typed exactly as per my 1985 Bible)Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, And grasps oil with his right hand.Same verse with this current KJV Bible - typed exactly as written.Whosoever hideth her hideth the wind, and the ointment of his right hand, which bewrayeth itself.Clearly there is an issue here. To restrain something or someone is to hold back To hide something is exactly as it implies. To hide. Restraining something or someone does not mean to hide something, therefore the context of this verse has changedHonestly if this Bible was printed by someone else - I would have been more forgiving. But being printed by my original Bible printers, I find it inexcusable and worrying, especially for those that have nothing to compare it to. A prime example of how things have been added or left out & makes no sense. - what exactly is the word bewrayeth?!The red letters of Jesus's words are accurate. And the text was the perfect size to do some heavy reading/ study. But now when I read it I have my 1985 Thomas Nelson Bible close to compare - which honestly defeats the purpose.I am bitterly disappointed that I have to do this. I will keep it but it put me off buying a few more to give as gifts.

Small but packed with goodies!
This pocket bible is slightly larger and bulkier than expected, but is very good nonetheless. The type is a good size for me reading with 2.5 reading spec. It takes a while to get used to the references being in a ‘pile’ at the bottom of the page instead of centrally, but they are there. The maps, concordance, reading plan together with parables and miracles of Jesus make this little Bible very valuable.

Classic text in nice binding
I'm not going to review the content - it's the classic king james bible you're used to. Binding is nice and wraps around the whole way so you can carry it without causing damage. It says 'large print' on the front, and I'm a little confused why this pocket version claims to use large print while the full hardback one does not. Obviously, the print is pretty small as you would expect from such a big book compressed into a pocket size format! The font is fairly easy to read for me, but I have perfect vision - if you don't then be aware that you might find this print too small.

The study notes are excellent. Making the Kjv understandable
My go to study bible. The notes photographs and breakdown of scripture is comprehensive. I bought one for a friend after getting my own as she was having difficulty with understanding her Kjv. This bible makes it understandable

Product delivered in less than premium condition
I have ordered this bible as a wedding gift for my sister. It has been sent out/received promptly. The wedding bible is a lovely product and will make a lovely gift. It is specifically a wedding product and sold to be a gift. It is therefore hugely disappointing to receive the product with discoloured/scuff patches on the front cover even though it has been placed into its enclosure box. Someone has therefore handled the bible, noted that it is not in premium condition for sale or for sale as a wedding gift and has still sent it out to me.It is poor service. Poor delivery of a product and I would recommend others to source an alternative if seeking a special gift for someone.
