Van Heusen Men's Dress Shirt Regular Fit Poplin Solid

I got this to wear as a member of an orchestra I play in, and was wary of getting an ill-fitting or thin material shirt off the Internet. This material is comfortably thick, though not quite so much as my broadcloth dress shirts. But definitely sturdy and not thin or flimsy. Sleeves are just a little shorter than expected - I usually get 34-35 length and they reach my wrist bone, but this is about a cm shorter. Not a huge deal but I noticed it.

My husband prefers to have the neck loose. This shirt fit the bill. Loose fit in the neck and chest and is long enough for my husband who is long waisted. We are happy with the price and it looks nice.

My dad wore this for our wedding and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The burnt orange is deep and goes great with khakis. It also matched my flowers and moms dress perfectly! Very pleased.

Product met all expectations relative to cost. Will buy again.

I brought my Husband this shirt to go with my dress the color was perfect...the sleeves on the other hand were a little short (thankful for a blazer). Im sure that was an issue on MY part. Otherwise the shirt was true to size.

Order 17 34/35 says it’s a size XL in the tag it is very large normally im a large and buy that size so seems off

The 15-1/2 neck ran tight. Otherwise decent construction.

The shirt will work for the occasion I purchased it for but the arms are a little tighter than I would expect. The shirt fits every other way and would be 5 star had it not been for the sleeves. I'm older and like more room in the clothes that I wear.

I really like this shirt, I ordered a 15 neck, its slightly loose and thats the way I like it. I can't stand a tight neck. The overall fit is good. Slightly loose, but I love all my close a bit loose. I would never buy slim fit, I don't care if its the new rage, I like a relaxed fit, always have. Good shirt, I will buy other colors as well.

If this is 'regular' fit then I'm a sumo wrestler. Very mean cut and on the verge of being far too tight. Ordered longer sleeves, length OK but far too tight, stickman would have trouble, and Popeye would spit his spinach out!Bottom line, 'regular' fit is more akin to slim fit and the sleeves are far too tight for the average arm.

It is a great product, and I will be keeping it. It's excellent quality, and I would even consider ordering more from the supplier. The reason for the four stars is that the sleeves are elbow length. This may be a designer or trend, but it was a disappointment when putting the shirt on. However, as I usually wear a jacket or blazer with it, this is not a visible issue, and when I dress down, it is sleeves rolled up and waistcoat on. I would have given five stars if the sleeves and cuffs went down to my wrists; still, great product, and do recommend.

I have a number of these shirts still in use from my time at work, I retired 15 years ago. The new ones appear to be of the same quality, not something you can say of many of todays products.

Van Heusen shirts are quality shirts. This order was on time and well packaged. It fitted my husband a little snugly round the neck hence 4 stars. This is not usual as he is 15 neck. I won’t have to move neck button though. The rest of the shirt is a generous comfortable fit. It is a beautiful shirt.
