IT does not come with a setting tool but I used the Dritz heavy duty snap pliers found at:https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B005BB5GYS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1to apply them. I thought it would be difficult and require a strong grip to accomplish but it was pretty easy. I especially appreciate the fact that it came with a noce plastic box with all the parts organized.
