## Questions & Answers

**Q: what does the 24x18x1.5" weigh and the smaller ones too? I do not see weight anywhere listed.**
A: Mine is well oiled and it weighs approximately 19.4 pounds.

**Q: How do you fix separations in a boos cutting board**
A: All wooden cutting board will have separations.... its just a fact of life. Its an easy fix though.
Thoroughly clean all gaps of any foreign matter... I use a metal fork.
Lay a bead of a good quality wood glue in the gap.
Take wooden toothpicks and gently tap into the glue filled gaps until they are filled.
Allow to dry. I let mine dry for 24 hours at least.
Lightly sand with a fine grit sandpaper (600 to 800 grit works best)
Rub the cutting board with a high quality oil until the wood wont take any more oil.
Wipe and enjoy!

**Q: How much does the 24 inch version weigh?**
A: tem Weight	‎ 6.5 pounds. It's listed on page.

**Q: How deep are the channels, how much liquid can they hold? I keep having liquid slosh out as a I transfer meat from the grill to the table.**
A: Just did a test and it holds about half a cup of liquid.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for me.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 December 2025*

Love this board. Being Walnut it took a lot of oil to start but now looks beautiful. It is the right weight for me as I hate really heavy boards. Also as I'm 5'4" it is the right height when on the worktop for chopping in comfort.

### ⭐⭐ Cracked within first month
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 March 2021*

Perfect size and feel chopping board. However after less than a month, with limited us and care guidelines fully adhered to - the board started cracking. Disappointed when buying what seemed a premium product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Calidad.
*by on Reviewed in Spain 2 December 2025*

Muy buena calidad, pero claro, como todo lo bueno, caro.
