20 PCS 5K-100K Ohm Knurled Shaft Linear Rotary Taper Potentiometer with Five Kinds Knob(WH148) Kit

I just needed 2 5k Ohm variables that I could add a 19k1 or 7k15 Ohm resistances to the end, drop across the 24V dc and create a 0-5V and 0-10V dc input for my PLC test box. These are not wonderful quality or something I would use for my $2,000 hand built HiFi music center but for a PLC test box they are wonderful, work well and do the job. I had to ask and my question got answered in the question section as to the hole pattern to drill for fitting them into the lid of my box, but apart from that I had no issues and very please with them. It is odd that it was cheaper to buy a whole box of these just to get 2 of the 5ks but much cheaper than buying them any other way. Overall very pleased and would recommend them for simple projects like mine - see pictures.

I'm building a preamp / line driver and this great assortment of pots, knobs, nuts and washers will get the job nicely.

This is a nice selection of values and I liked the knobs that were included. Easy to mount and a good look.

Works fine

Very nice plastic case, several options for knobs. Includes locking washers and nuts for all the pots. Got these for Arduino projects and the pegs fit in a breadboard perfectly. This was a good kit for a beginner like me, and it's nice to have so many options for whatever lesson I wander to on the Y.T.

I've used 6 or 7 of the potentiometers from this kit, and 2 of them were failing right out of the box. While not moving the pot at all, I'll get varying read levels within my arduino, which of course causes strange behavior that I have to code around to try to maintain good function for a PID algorithm. I may need to buy better pots, as these aren't very dependable.

Product is nice and solid. Knobs and controls are great too.

I ordered these to supplement a basic electronics kit for kids. They work really well and are easy to hook up. They even plug into a breadboard although the leads are pretty big for that. Nice assortment of useful values. I would buy these again.
