Do you have to soak filters before using

Hi, it says so in the description. And for the future you MUST rinse ALL charcoal filter until the water runs clear before using.

What are the dimensions of the individual filter bags? The dimensions given are for the overall shipping package.

They are approximately 3" by 2". They are not very large. I've had them for a while now and they do work nicely in my particular water distiller.

How long does one bag last until i replace it with another?

Making 1 gallon of distilled water a day I replace it once a month. This is on the safer side, you can probably go a month and a half if you want to.

what are the dimensions of this item (each)

Each Sachet is 2" X 2.5". They have more activated charcoal than other sachets made for the same purpose but still fit into the slot for the water distiller. This makes it work better and longer.
