Very nice tree seat. Great value for money. Looks like a much more expensive tree seat. Easy to put together and fits together nicely.Came in 2 boxes which arrived a few days apart so don’t worry if half of it appears missing if just one box arrives at first!

So, at almost £400 I expected the boxes to arrive as if it hadn’t been dropped from the back of a low flying plane, very bad packaging. My husband then assembled the bench which he said was easy to do but then we found the missing corner which is most annoying as it’s been cut incorrectly at the factory. Should’ve read the reviews. I looks nice round our new tree but it’s not cheap or perfect sadly.

I'm sorry to say that I was quite disappointed with this purchase. Main points:1 I did not realise that it came as a flat pack. It is quite a task to build the seat. It probably took a day to build it and fit it around the tree, maybe more.2 The build is questionable. The wood is too thin to take the screws. Basically it comes with all the guide holes drilled for the screws but on three occasions the action of screwing in the screws split the wood. This is because the construction has been pared down to the minimum and each piece of wood probably needs to be a few millimetres thicker (or the wood is too brittle). I have included pictures to show what I mean.3 The holes for some of the screws are difficult to get to because there is other wood in the way (see picture).4 When I wrote to Deuba explaining the problem they took 7 days to reply (by which time I had given up and built the seat with the parts I had. When they responded they said that I should go on a special portal and include my invoice number of post code but the portal is set up for Deuba invoices and as I bought through Amazon with an Amazon invoice number the portal will not allow me access.5 A final practical point to consider before buying a seat to go round a tree is the slope of the land and the roots of the tree! One side of my seat is 6 inches off the ground and is now supported by bricks - not an attractive look!5 The only good point is that it is a lower cost product but that is not enough for all the wasted time and frustration.

This is a very nice design at a very good price. Unfortunately it’s let down by some poor quality ‘fitting’ Some of the holes were to big and some had not been counter sunk fully.Beware th downing hole is also so big you’d think they used the wrong drill size. If you’re a bit of a DIYER no problem-good value

I read the other reviews describing delivery of part benches with missing legs, screws etc and/or damaged good and thought hey, it's a German Company, probably a one off. BIG MISTAKE. Half a bench arrived in a bashed box, no legs or screws. The delivery guy confirmed only one box was due, so that means DEUTSCHBAUER sent it out KNOWING it was missing half a bench. The bashed in bits can be sanded down, but it's hard to put together a bench without half of it being present and with legs and screws missing. I contacted them and they have come back asking for photographic proof ... this is going to help how? I am not asking for replacement due to damage, I will deal with that myself. I am asking for the MISSING half of my bench to be delivered ... one look at their manifest would tell them they only sent out half of it i.e. one box instead of two. It's basically a stock letter sent out - with infuriating blurb about how much they care about my order .. so now, I, the customer who has done nothing wrong, has to go the extra mile while they sit on my money .... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER

Great product for the price - packaging not brilliiant but all arrived ok. Decided to buy an extra one for good measure :)

This seat arrived broken on the seat edges which is a weak point, 4 seats were broken, the bolts were missing and also one front wooden bracket which is decorative as can be seen on the picture. All this due to poor packaging.The company tried their best to replace some parts but they arrived broken as well, but I did get the bolts. I am capable of mending the broken seats with dowels and glue, and I have to make the front wooden bracket as they could not supply this part. At least 6 of the seat support sections have all the glued joints loose and I am having to open these up and reassemble them with new glue. I have still chosen to keep the bench as it is a very good looking seat for the price, and I am capable of mending it. The company refunded me £30 to compensate for my troubles and I am sure they would have given me a complete refund if I had asked.It has all been a lot of trouble and will be a lot of work to complete the seat. If you can't repair it then this is not for you.
