My core text in Uni. Easy to read. Recommended.

Finish on the book is a bit sloppy. Content is good so I'd go for the same edition but the older format (a brown cover page) if you can.

I love it. Four stars only because compared to the Saks 'Managing Performance Through Training and Dev' 6th ed. book, this book has very poor page quality. It's a bit like thin brown newspaper inside. Yet I still don't care because the bottomline is I'm reading it for knowledge and to pass my exams. There are no typos or misspellings or missing pages and it has all the information you will need without having to pay serious bucks for the newer edition. The seller or manufacturer I picked is from India and it was a good buy. Don't be afraid if you see your packaging come in from India via Dubai. It really is from India. I would pick this book over a $200 textbook (daylight robbery) over the university bookstore any day.

Being a Performance Management Professional, I liked the examples provided in the book. The book takes one from base to the pinnacle at very systematic pace.

I rented the electronic version of this book for a class. I think this book is a classic and I plan to purchase a copy. I wish I had purchased it instead of renting it but often times you use a book for class and never use it after the class so it just makes sense to lease it. This is not be the case with this text. It is easy to read and full of relevant information that can be practically applied. If you're looking to learn about performance management I highly recommend this text.

Disclaimer : The book is good.The content is good. However i have a lot of issues with respect to being able to read it as and when i want to. I cannot access it on the cloud reader. I cannot access it on my kindle. Am forced to read it on my PC or mobile phone. Being a reference book( i mean who reads it for leisure) these are major irritants Please do not buy it, unless you are ready to put up with the headache of reading it on your PC /phone,
