Finally! A Brace Compression Sleeve that works.
I have sent back 2 knee compression sleeves because they were so compressing that my poor injured knee was in severe pain just trying them on. And I carefully measured myself according to the directions for each sleeve. The other knee brace I tried was not a sleeve but an adjustable knee with side stabilizers that I would only use occasionally because it still caused some pain and was too constricting for longer term use. Thus I went looking again for a knee compression sleeve that was not so compressing that it would be unusable but still have enough compression to give me support for longer periods of wearing when needed. Thus I came across this ATHLEDICT knee compression sleeve with removable straps. After reading the description and the reviews, and seeing that it was an Amazon's Choice, I decided to give it a try. And I am glad I did. The compression is just enough for support without giving me pain, and the straps added to the stability of the sleeve. I was able to wear it for most of the day for the things I needed to do before deciding it was time to take it off. I am buying another so that when one sleeve is being washed I have a second around for support when needed while recovering from my injury.

Home Run!
Home run!! I have been an athlete my whole life, stay active they say! What they don't tell you is that arthritis creeps its ugly head up after 50 and limits your daily life. I'm recovering from a scope on my knee and inexplicably, have had constant inflammation and pain for 6 weeks. Unheard of! These sleeves are going to, hopefully, stabilize my joint and keep swelling down long enough for me to start building my atrophied quad again. The only thing I wish they were was a bit thinner. Bauerfind makes a superb compression sleeve but no straps. The straps help stabilize. So overall, I'd highly recommend.

Works pretty well!
I would say this item works pretty well! I did something to my MCL and I was wearing this almost daily for about 2 weeks. It definitely helped with stability, and my knee felt so much better when this was on. It did what it was supposed to do, and I would definitely purchase again if I needed to.The item homes with a strap that's meant to stabilize the kneecap... I'm not sure when this strap would come in handy... Perhaps for specific injuries. I just found that the brace was a bit too restrictive when I tried to use the strap and I didn't find it comfortable.I think 20 dollars is a bit more than I'd like to pay for this item, considering that you could get something like this at the store for around 15... That said, this sleeve is a better thicker than what you may find at a drug store, so maybe that's why it's a bit more expensive. It worked though! So if you're having medial knee pain, I'd recommend this!

"Immortal" | Helped rehab sprained knee from hockey
When I initially got hurt any sudden movement involving my knee resulted in excruciating pain, even with other "firm braces/compressions" my knee was easily bothered and/or would swell up like a balloon after 10 minutes. After initially putting this on, i was walking around the house and to the train station with confidence and my knee felt immortal to abrupt and unwarranted movements. Admittedly at first glance, I was hesitant about buying a sleeve at this price point.Best part is that it has the optional velcro straps for extra support when needed. I tried 3 or 4 other knee braces/compression sleeves and most of them even cost more money. None had the support firm enough to help support my knee as I was recovering. The only other one that had the firmness was not as comfortable. The sizing description is very accurate (for my size at least) and I wear this daily. I don't use the straps anymore because I don't need that much support but I keep them on an wrapped around the bottom half of the brace in case if I need it and I just wear the sleeve itself. Another thing i noticed is the stamina, I can wear this brace for long periods of time while others that didnt have as firm as a compression would make my calf swell quicker. Easy to adjust, put on and take off. It has been a little over a month and there's minimum "wear and tear". Some "ballies" have been spotted as a result of the velcro being re-adjusted at the top of my knee. The brace doesn't suffocate you or make you sweat with it on, and I get warm very easily, so i appreciate that it seems to be breathable (intentional or not). I've done light exercises in this brace so far and haven't started skating yet so I can't yet say whether or not this will be good for sports/exercises.

A great leg brace! highly recommend
im a long distance runner and have been struggling with tendinitis in the back of my knee for months. i have tried five different braces and none worked for various reasons- until this one!! it’s great! the brace fits very comfortably, miraculously stays up and well placed, and the additional straps provides even more support and compression right where i need it (something none of the other braces did). last week i ran a 50k trail marathon and this brace helped get me through it with no problems or pain. very pleased and can’t recommend this enough. for reference: my leg is like 17’ish inches around the thigh, due to the chart i should have been a large but got the medium for more compression and to ensure it stays up. it fits very well and is still comfortable in the thigh, which is pretty thick.

Great product and very supportive
Only reason I didn't give this five stars is because this brace has some kind of Teflon or rubber to help keep the support up above the knee. I am allergic to this rubber and causes a severe rash around my thigh when I wear it. Can't use this product.

Good purchase
Purchased this product for my son following an minor injury playing soccer (hyper extension of the knee). This knee brace compression was a great help in his recovery.

Stabilizes knee well
Quality material. Made well. Stabilizes the knee well. The only thing is the wrap is not connected tot he sleeve. It is separate. Wasn’t expecting that. Could get lost easily which would affect the ability to stabilize the knee
