Q: What's the difference between these and the cheeper version other than wireless charging

The difference between version 1.0 and version 2.0 is in the case functions and design. The earphones are exactly the same in quality of sound and functionality. Colors options available do change with versions. There is no design difference in the earphones. They made no improvements to the earphone technology. The 2.0 series do not charge faster, sound better, fit different, smell better or anything else others answering this question have been misinforming potential buyers. The version change is solely a case upgrade and color availability. The 2.0 version has a less sporty and more of a refined and classy case design in many respects with additional case battery charge storage and wireless charging capabilities. Case version 2.0 will also be available as an accessory to purchase and will work with the 1.0 earphones NO changes to the earbuds. Why mess with perfection.

At least 12 hours haven’t listened longer I used them on a flight to Asia and they still had juice when I landed

Never felt that. So, I’m guessing so. They are like any type of “in ear” headphone, you may be a little sore after the first day you wear them, but then your body adapts and they are fine. They’ve never been uncomfortable. They have different size pads to fit different size ears
