Works but is very delicate!!!! Crazy glue the end of the wire.
I brought the whole unit with case for my iPhone 4s and upgraded the wire when I got my iPhone 5c. Glad all I had to change was wire and case. But the wire is delicate and only lasted 8 or 9 days, the wire disconnected at the head of the iPhone end. I opened it up and solder the wire together then Crazy Glued the outside part of the wire to the casing. I have had it for a year now with no problems, so for the future buyers Crazy Glue the wire at the iPhone end.

Avoid this product
Does not work with my iphone 5s. Get unauthorized accessory error, phone will not charge. The case has some issues, too - the rubber molding is too thick and I had to manually trim it down. Very disappointing.

Flawed Design
BuyBits provided great customer support, but the product has some design flaws. The tip came loose after 6 months and less than 20 uses. The manufacturer claimed it was misuse, but BuyBits stepped in and helped me. The reason I got this was because it is suppose to be designed to be rugged enough for a motorcycle.

Imperative for motorbike touring
Does what it says it does. This keeps my iphone charged on my bike which allows me to use it for navigation, music, communication etc no matter how long my day of riding.
