Gildan Ultra Cotton 6 oz. Long-Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt (G241)

Good price, nice fit, soft, has a pocket. Not as thick as some of my other brand shirts. Thick and thin are both good depending on if it’s cool or cold and windy out. Wish it had two pockets. Shrinkage not a problem. Good color selection.

My husband has lots of Gildan short sleeve shirts. He wanted a long sleeve one for the cold weather and he loves it. The sleeves are a good length and the shirts launder well.

I bought these shirts for riding my bicycle for exercise on highly congested streets. I can see the difference in visibility to vehicle drivers. I am not in the spandex style group of bike riders; I am in my sixties and have spent a lifetime in the sun. The long sleeves protect my arms from excessive sunlight and further skin damage. The 50% cotton and 50% polyester material makes it tolerable in moderate to high heat. The customer service of the provider, VeeTrends, was responsive and immediately helpful when I had a shipping problem. I will order from them again in the future.

I find Gilden to be a reliable value product when high quality isn’t a high priority. I prefer a thicker, more substantial product for cold weather or rougher use but these will still meet a variety of needs. Extensive color selection is a big plus. Not relevant to the white I purchased this time, but I always soak/rinse colors (dark especially) prior to wearing or washing. Washing well in medium or cold water, tolerate the dryer without major shrinkage
