If there were fewer than 1 star, I would rate them less. These are indeed very large golden raisins. However, and this is an important however, they are coated in an oily petrochemical substance. From the odor, I would guess it might be diesel fuel. It MIGHT just be mineral oil, but it's has a very strong odor to it, which plain mineral oil doesn't have. Not to mention food should not be coated in mineral oil anyway. What it is not, is food grade vegetable oil. Bottom line, don't buy these raisins.

These are great big golden raisins that come in a big, zip-lock bag. I have always boiled my raisins at a very low heat for 3 or 4 hours. When I use them in oatmeal cookies, I drain them, but save the leftover liquid. I use a couple of tablespoons of that in the dough. Now, I drain the amount I want and put them in my oatmeal with hot milk. The raisins have a great flavor, and they are great big and soft.

These are the absolute best white raisins I have ever had. They are large and plump. They are not dried up.Will be my choice in the future,

I purchased these for my annual holiday fruitcake. I soak them and candied fruit in rum for several weeks prior to baking. These raisins were very fresh, large in size and after soaking, they plumped up so much they almost looked like grapes. They were delicious as well. I hope to buy them again next year.

Great flavor for snacking and they work really well ikn bread puddings ssuch as the "Minnesota Plum Pudding", a recipefound in the book "The Plum Pudding Murder".

Pleased with theser, they are large, juicy, and delightful. Add to nut mix and they are great addition.

Great big raisins..excellent for baking and/or just a snack out-of-the-bag! Excellent price..excellent product. Used these in my annual 8-lb fruitcake. A real hit!
