Like that it is sturdy and will do what I expected when I ordered it. Cons....wish the screw holes were a little closer together. I had to cut 12" lengths for my project and could have used closer holes. Ended up drilling several additional holes but overall the mini-trak is a good product.

It's easy to use
It works. It's easy to use. It's also nice that it really is just a hair shorter than 3/8", so routing your 3/8"-deep channels will put this rail just a hair under flush. Accepting a standard 1/4"-20 bolt head is great.Cutting this stuff was cake with my miter saw using a laminate/non-ferrous metal blade. The #6 self-centering drill bit I had wouldn't fit between the top rails on the track, so I ended up buying a #5 Vix bit. The Vix bit fit between the rails and the holes came out well. You'll have to source your own #6 screws...Not a big deal. Make sure you get ones short enough; my local stores only had #6-1/2", which were too long. I bought some anyway and ground about 1/8" off the end of each screw. Worked like a charm. The distinctive blue Kreg-standard anodizing looks nice.

Another good Kreg product.
Exactly what I needed to make a cross cut sled for my table saw...elected to use this instead of wood rails as the aluminum will never swell or warp. Excellent product

Good miter slider with one issue
This thing is perfect for making sleds and jigs. The only complaint I have is there isn't a way to keep the sled inside the miter track (most tracks have a small wheel or other assembly to make sure the sled doesn't come off the top of your table saw or router table). The competitors do have this wheel, but they aren't nearly as smooth as this according to the reviews. Or, maybe there is a locking mechanism and I missed it.The nylon inserts do a good job of keeping it snug and square. It is very easy to use the included hardware to attach your sled/jig to this. I made a 45 degree sled in about 25 minutes using these, I've since cut about 80 pieces of bolection moulding and the miters came out really well. Much better than using a chop saw.I'd suggest getting two of these and cutting them both in half, which will allow you to have 2 separate sleds/jigs. Once you have your sled set up you really don't want to be removing the miter tracks.

Making a crosscut sled? You need this.
At least I did. This made building the sled easy-peasy; it fits perfectly in the standard 1/4 x 3/4 slot on your table saw. Cut it to length with whatever aluminum-cutting gizmo you have, and screw it into the bottom of your nascent sled.

A Good Buy
What can you say, it's from Kreg! I have several other tools from Kreg, and they all do as advertised. The Trak rails are consistent in their dimensions, and finished well. If you have need of a standard T-Track this is the go to product.
