Professional grade, the light intensity and warm color much improved from my old penlight (LED). Battery life is long no sight of it dimming. I find the pocket clip useful, easy to clip, stays put in the pocket, releases without snagging material. Weighted and fits in the hand with a mechanical button to turn light on/off. Can measure pupillary size and distance measurements from the side accurately.

This light is oerfect for determining pupillary reaction. I have used it to examine wounds and even searching for dropped items. I use it, due to its size, to check air gouges on Scott pack bottles. The only drawbacks are the button on the end gets inadvertently pushed. Turning the light on in my pocket, and draining the battery. I have dropped it on the floor several times andvit still works.

The one star off is due to the wide beam. The color-temperature is wonderful if you like incandescent colored light. The product description said: "Perfect Pen Light - for Inspection Reading Work Repair." I assumed the key word 'inspection' meant a narrow angle beam, like the Coast G20 Inspection Beam Penlight (on Amazon). This is basically room-wide in the beam angle; too wide to actually say a number. But it does very well light what is right in front of it. It's just the people around you will be illuminated too, unless you hold the penlight close to the target. UPDATE: This has become my #1 penlight, due to the wonderful warm yellow light. I can put up with the very wide beam. Also, it is plenty bright. There are two more points: 1) The on-off button is very solid and does not 'move around' like all other button style penlights I've owned. It seems like it will last a long time. 2) Call this an unadvertised special: There are three (3!) points on the penlight for the clip. There are three indented areas; one at each end and one in the middle (I've never seen this). As I'm a 'mouth user,' I have the clip at the light end. This penlight is comfortable in the mouth, compared to most others.

I could see into the future with this. Lol jk but it is a great pen light. It's a warm white light and is great for checking IV bags and other things in a patients room at night.

If you are sick of having a dull pen light this is the perfect one. It is very durable and can fit in any pocket. It also has a great light for certain situations. Makes it very easy to look down someone’s throat or check pupil signs

Nice size. Functions well but LED is still too bright to get near your eyes. The old fashioned penlight with removable bulbs was much better..

This pen light is very bight and is basically the size if a ball point pen. I like that it has an aluminum body, end cap on/off switch, and the disk of light that emanates from it has a well defined edge. I use it as my EDC light. It has come in handy when working on my truck and when I need a lot of light in a small place like when I am trying to read small type. It does cost a little more than other devices in the pen light class, but I think the extra money you pay is worth it.

Perfect medical grade penlight that my professor made us get for clinical placements! Worked phenomenally.

Works well for eye assessments.
