Lasted 2 months
This lasted longer than most my dog is extremely rough on it but she's only 60 lbs so idk it just wore out I guess

No more runaway doggie
This tie out cable works whether you hook it around a tree or connect it to a screw in the ground stake. Our 7 month loves running and this includes being nosy and getting in the neighbor's yard. With this cable, no matter how much she tugs and pulls on it, the cable itself still looks new. When tied to the tree, the covering over the cable has nothing wrong with it. When it's in ground and hooked onto the ground stake, the hook allows her to move in either direction and doesn't kink up either. With this tie out cable, we're even able to keep her in the front yard while we're out there.

Good for the money
We are on our 2nd tie out cable. We have to replace it every 6 months or so because our 2 dogs get it knotted up and the clips start getting rusted and wore out. We’ve used several others and the coating on the cable begins to crack and allows the cable to rust and break after a couple of months, especially during the winter months. This is the first that doesn’t begin cracking during our hot summers or cold winters.

Durable, strong, does the job
Wire cable seems very durable, and rubber/plastic coated which prevents it from scratching or damaging other surfaces. The latches are not very smooth, but seem to be fine for now... will tell over time, since this is being used outdoors in the New England elements.

So far so good!
I’ve only had these a few days. So far they seem sturdy enough to keep my 75+ Pitties at bay. What I didn’t like is the sharp edged in the coils. When handling so much power and the need to react quickly the sharp metal pieces could result in injury. For now we will see how they work. The plastic piece that is supposed to cover where the leads are welded in place has already come loose. I’m not sure how this will hold up after a few seasons of getting wet or snowed on since they will not be covered.

Sturdy Chain for Dog Run
I have been thru several of these types of chains for a dog run. My dog is 65 pounds of solid muscle. The coating is great for weatherproofing the metal wire. It's very strong, but after a year or two the clips begin to rust. I'm not a big fan of the spring as my dog can pull hard enough to begin stretching it. As noted they have lasted a couple of years. Unfortunately we haven't tested beyond that as they don't hold up well to a mower.

Awesome, STRONG, *sturdy*, tangle resistant leads
Best tie out we’ve found. Spent the extra $$$ for the durability after going through four other leads for our two dogs. They always chewed threw the metal or somehow broke them. Until we got these. Two of these and they’re set. They don’t tangle because of their stiffness, a big plus over the ones that are really malleable. They’re the perfect length for us and available in any increment you need. They have strong clips with tension absorbers. And our dogs have been unable to male a mark on them. Plus they’re 1/3 the price of the big box store.

20 feet is perfect for our small yard.
We have a Boxer who loves to be outside. We go to the dog park a lot and use this lead with his collar but there are a lot of days where I can't take him because I have a migraine and can't leave. Those days my daughter takes him out, sets up a small sprinkler if it's hot and attaches the lead to the window awning. He's able to sit under the shade tree or run back and forth in the yard. When it's hot he really enjoys playing under the sprinkler water. I love it.
