V2 - Pure Mania

This is a must for all Punk lovers both old and young. The sheer energy of the music is just non-stop throughout. This C.D. is a compliation of the first two albums, Pure Mania and V2. The first fifteen tracks are from Pure Mania, which was released in 1977. Personal favourite is Keep It Clean, which is a punk classic. The next thirteen are from the V2 album, this contains the top 5 single Automatic Lover, but my personal favourite is the flip side to the single Destroy. The raging lyrics and music, ah what memories! The last three tracks are taken from singles released at the time. These sound as good as ever. AN ABSOLUTE MUST FOR ALL PUNK LOVERS! I rate this alongside The Clash - "The Clash" and The Sex Pistols - "Nevermind The Bollocks". BUY!

Pure Mania was one of the great punk records of my youth. Here it is with the entire V2 follow up album and some live tracks. Not really impressed with the live tracks, but the two albums are 90% killer, 10% filler.
