## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do these compare to the previous alpine type r spr-60?**
A: I’d download the spec sheets for both and compare…. I find changes to speakers from the same brand to be incremental, and may not even be noticeable.  If the products had a claim to be redesigned completely, finding a place to hear them might be worth the effort

**Q: Are these full range speakers?**
A: THIS IS A COMPONENET SPEAKERS.

**Q: Do these come with the adapters for a 5x7/6x8 door loacation?**
A: No only speakers in the box.

**Q: Which speakers are better the 6.5 spr-60 or Rs6.5**
A: I think those are the coaxial versus the full component, if I read that correctly.  The component will give you flexibility for imaging of the music in your front, and also attenuation of the tweeter at different decibel levels, which I don't think the coaxial has.  If you have any interest in adding a sound processor the component gives you more flexibility.  

I'd always go component with the best amplifier you can afford.  I think the ability to place the tweeter in the optimal position makes a world of difference, just depends on money and how picky you are.

These fit perfectly for my application. A great value considering the r series released their gen 2. These are soound clear and are easy to install. They have great power handling but sound great on stock power. They function exactly as advertised.

Best speakers on the market for the money hands down. Clear sound, no distortion, good bass highs and lows, and loud af. Added a mn 8-inch sub with Alpine Amp to reduce the power from the car speakers and man what a huge difference. Fits perfectly behind my seat of my Toyota Tacoma. Perfect sounding sustem. Thanks Alpine!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent sound and Shallow Mounting Depth

I purchased the latest gen Type R 6.5 components to replace some Rockford T2652-S in my front doors and these previous gen Type R 6.5 coaxials to replace some Rockford T1675 in my rear doors.They are being powered off of a Rockford T400X4AD and handle the power well. They have a pretty flat response and really come to life with some proper tuning. They are nowhere near as harsh as the RF T series. My only complaint is the spade terminals are a little flimsy. You will need .110" quick connects for the negative terminal and standard .250" for the positive. Quick connects were not included in the box.
