Yuck. Stay away. The product that I received was nothing like the HoMai rice tgat u used to get at Costco. The product is filled with hard white opaque grains that don’t cook at the same rate as the rest. Leaves crunchy bits. Also has bad grains that look like bugs. Stay away.

Too Many Rice Grains Still In Hulls
I've switched from white rice to brown rice and bought Homai brand brown rice. The cooked rice is firm, adding more water could make it softer if that's what you want. The one thing I noticed about this brand is that it has more rice still in their hulls compared to other brands I've bought. I find myself picking through the grains before I cook them and I find it annoying. I also find myself spitting out the ones that I missed at meal time, and that's even more annoying. This maybe the last time I bought this brand.
