Excellent broom, but there's a trick to installing the handle!
Broom itself is great, high quality. There are stiff bristles inside and soft bristles outside, making it suitable for a variety of surfaces. The tag says it has a 5 year warranty, which is awesome. There are tabs on the broom so the handle can snap in for transport. Unfortunately it didn't include instructions for attaching the handle. You'd think it would be a simple matter of screwing it in, but not quite. Finally I figured out the trick - I screwing it in partially from the opposite end - yes, in through the bristles - to help the threads get started. Then I unscrewed it and reinserted it from the correct end, this time pressing really hard while screwing it in. You have to press the handle in really hard while twisting it, to get the threads to start going in. Then continue screwing it in all the way. The result it worth the effort - the handle attached very securely with absolutely no wiggle-room. Awesome product in the end. Unfortunately the broom got very dirty just a few minutes later, but my floor is nice and clean haha!

Most popular (and durable) broom in my warehouse.
I order these for an industrial warehouse where we sweep up a lot of product that is very similar to sand and ranges in size from ultra-fine dust to very coarse grit. These brooms do a great job moving the fine dust (which can only be accomplished with fine bristles) and also moving deep piles (which requires stiff bristles). I never knew I would be a broom snob, but I've come to realize that not all brooms are versatile enough to sweep fine dust AND coarse or heavy or deep particulate. This broom is at once a bulldozer and a dust mover. They also put up with a lot of abuse. We break a lot of brooms where the handle meets the broom head, but this kind doesn't break as often. One thing I can suggest is to not get a very wide broom head of you're going to be pushing a lot of weight. That will put more stress on the attachment point. This broom is on the narrow side as far as push-brooms go, so you can push a lot of deep, heavy material without snapping the head off.My warehouse guys ask for these over every other broom.

SURPRISE! Hard to assemble
You'd think the handle would just screw into the broom. Good luck! If and when I can get this weirdly configured hex bolt with screw attached below to actually turn in the solid hex shaped slot, I may like this broom. Until then, I'd advise anyone without a degree in logistical engineering to buy something more intuitive and easy to assemble.

little confusing... awesome after
When getting this broom I tried to place the handle onto the broom in the standard fashion, but did not realize that it comes with a "Lock" for the handle to stay onto the broom piece itself. once figured out I was rockin' and rollin'! Cleaned my entire Garage and this bad feller totally helped make that job into a much less tedious task than it would have been had i tried to use a regular broom and dustpan.

Not great at brooming rough surface.
I made the mistake on order thing this broom, I was replacing one that I gave away not know what kind I had before I ordered this one. the problem with this broom is the middle bristles are really stiff and the outer ones are soft. so if you try to sweep a painted floor then the stiff bristles just glides over the floor and the soft bristles are not allowed to touch the floor so it does not sweep very well. then when you try to sweep something like the side walk or the floor mat with will just get stuck. Make sure this is the broom you need before you order.

I Cannot Recommend This Broom!
This is the absolute worst broom I have ever seen. Both the broom head and threaded handle end are cheap soft plastic. There is no more than one thread in the broom head. I did not even come close to overtightening it and it just spins freely, so it never really got tight. The very first photo shown is not this broom. The photo shows a double threaded broom head; this is not what you will get. Amazon should really consider taking this down. It is very poorly made. You can get a better broom at the dollar store. I hate giving bad reviews but this item deserves it. Very dissatisfied with the product description, representation and quality.

ASSEMBLY
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:Cuz outta the hundreds of reviews, no instructions offered. If your broom handle doesn't come assembled, back out the silver screw in the yellow threaded part.. Norden, using a crescent wrench or chanelocks, screw this piece in. You may need someone to hold the broom head, I used a vice as shown. The plastic will pop as the head screws into the head. It won't break. Once started, slide in the handle and align with the screw hole. Screw in the screw. Continue to turn it in using the handle. The screw should not be visible when finished. I used wd-40 to alleviate this process.

Hard for me to punch.
This broom is very nice, but difficult to push! When I got it, I took it directly to my deck to sweep it off. I had such a hard time pushing, that I had to stop and sit for awhile. I'm a senior with medical problems, for sure, but I’ve never had a problem pushing a broom before. Is it because it's a large base? I don’t know, probably, but it doesn’t get me excited to use it again.

Best broom in my career!!
Bought to use on a equine yard and is the envy of all other staff, excellent on all types of ground when new, after a couple months when the bristles have worn down a bit it's best of on smoother surfaces but still does a decent job on rough surfaces. If used multiple times daily don't expect the handle to last more than a couple of months before it'll weaken in the middle and snap but otherwise excellent and light to use!! Love it!!

Screw snapped off, unable to reattach
Broom works pretty well, but the head snapped off the handle. Screw piece is just plastic, so it's now impossible to reattach, once broken.

Cleaning has never been easier.
It does a good job of getting the dust off easily. The build quality is really good and lasts a long time. Been using this for 2 years already and it's still going strong. A++.
