A solid three star
It came in with a good amount of brown but it will live. There is some random plant that is growing in the moss but it does not really bother me much and you can always just pull'em out. If you do not want to take your chance then getting it from a local store might me better or find a better seller. If it was about $5 then then the flaw might not really matter as you would be paying for a plant that would not come near good enough for $10.At the end you are taking a chance and overall I am happy with mi purchase.

Would recommend with a catch.
This was one of the few time I bought live plants offline and i didn't have the highest expectations. This product didn't disappoint but it didn't impress me. I used it in my fishtank and when It came I had to really soak it and clean it off. It came with this weird white substance on it that smeeled terrible and had to cut 1/3 off. But it still was a pretty good product over all. If uou don't have a local shop that sells this buying it offline is the best choice.

Moss will not grow.
As with all moss, it’s expected it’ll be partially brown put would grow back in. I used it to make a moss wall in my aquarium. I’ve been waiting patiently give it to grow but after a few months, the entire moss is brown and has not propagated. My other plants and java moss are fine in my tank. I’m not sure what the issue is. Very disappointed.

I was won over
I was skeptical when I bought this moss, but so far I’ve had a good experience.Before I put this in my tank I did a conservative dip in water and bleach, but I still got snails. Since then however things have been going as expected, and I’m seeing new growth.Moss grows SLOWLY, so just hang in there, especially because these suckers look dead when they come to you.

They don’t look like much at first, but take care of them and give it time. They will look amazing!
At first I wasn’t sure about this because when I received my moss it was brown and hard and in this square configuration. I followed the instructions and tied it, wedged it between tighter places on a piece of submerged drift wood at the bottom of my 15 gal planted aquarium. It took a couple months, but holy wow it filled in beautifully! The photos are from about 4 and a half, 5 months of growth. Weekly water changes with RODI water, injected co2 and liquid fertilize that includes iron a few times a week and these things take off! I am pleased and would buy from this seller again.

good moss so far
The moss arrived and was mostly green and looked good. I followed the instructions and it has been in my tank for a week and appears to be doing well. the couple of brown spots have started to come back.

Just got it today, but it's green and I have faith. Could have been more for the $$

Thin and mostly dead.
I've purchased this several times in the past and gave been pleased until now. This patch was very thin and mostly dead.
