TRIATHLON HANDLEBAR ROAD TRI CLIP-ON !

I am pleased to say this product works great. I have a Schwin Hybrid and the bars were a quick easy mount. The equipment arrived in excellent condition as well.Contents:2 handle bars2 aluminum clamps2 arm rests1 bag of shimsI put these aero bars directly on my mountain bike style handle bars. It was easy. The clamps have enough play to adjust them however you like. It requires two different size allen wrenches.The only drawback is the length on the handle bars seem a little short for me. I am 6 ft so these may work well for someone with a shorter frame.All in all I am very pleased for the price!

Their "More Information" section needs more information. It says...."3 Piece Add-On kit to fit most road handlebars". Well I have a 27 year old STOCK Miyata 310 road bike and the mounting clamps are too small!!! Guess I won't be in aerodynamic position (and resting my bad shoulder muscle) during my first triathlon!! Bummed!

I liked the price of the product. When it got here one of the clips that goes on the handle bar was cracked so the company sent a replacement part. Once it was on it worked well but the handle bars seem a little short. Luckily I have shorter arms.

I've been looking for a setup like this to create inboard hand positioning for my mountain bike, which I've hybridized for street riding, and these bars fit the bill perfectly. The bars are very well designed and strong, the mountings are the same, and it's a very simple and effective mounting system. You can set them in almost any mounting position and angle that fits you best, and the whole system is very light. The only downside is the arm supports, which make utterly no sense to me - the short length of the bars make the supports totally useless; from the tip of the bar to the back end of the bar which mounts into the support is just 7", so there's really no effective way to rest your arms in the cups and grasp the bar ends - and I'm no giant with long arms, 5'10" tall. So don't buy them if you're looking for arm rests! But if you're looking to add multiple hand positions and get a little more 'aero' in your MTB or hybrid riding, you can't do better than these.

I was struck by how light the bars are and I was pleased by the many different mounting angles you can use with the bars. They stayed put even when I was fully leaning on the in a print. I use them on a hybrid bike and I will probably buy another pair to put on my new road bike. The only drawback was that I could not use the pads because there is not room for them on my hybrid. I also have pretty big shoulders and have a hard time putting my elbows so close together. This would be true for any aero bars, not just this one.

Purchased these because the design looked really cool and different. Intended to put them on my road bike handle bars just as shown in the picture. However, they simply don't fit the handle bars. Thamp does not open wide enough to fit a standard bar. Cool design but a waste of money.

This appliance would not work on the size of vehicle I have. I have a different vehicle than what this is for.

I purchased these for the versatility. They are completely adjustable to provide you with the reach and angle you prefer to get you in a comfortable position. I've had them on my road bike for 2 seasons and love them. I spent quite a bit of time experimenting to find the perfect set up for me and it was time well spent. These bars are so much more flexible and customizable than the typical straight or "v" shaped aero bars. I did add bar tape to them giving better grip when pushing hard in an aero position.
