I still use my safflower oil but the winter weather demanded more moisture of my skin, so I used this nightly. Luckily i dont have too many wrinkles for 40 but I do still have teenage-level acne prone skin and this does not irritate my skin. In fact, it help to keep my breakouts away. The moisturizer is thicker than it is sheer but it can be used before makeup as long as you give it time to settle in. (I’m a little heavy handed so maybe dont apply a full pump lol.) As long I powder my face, I dont have any issues with my eye shadows and brows staying in place. While this might be a little pricey for some, the shorter ingredient list, the use of more natural ingredients, and the retinol is worth the price to me. Takes me about 2-3 months of daily use to consume (depends if it’s a half pump or full pump day lol). It’s very thick and a small amount goes a long way.The delivery system is the issue. The top pushes down and the cream is supposed to come up from the bottom to the top. I purchased twice and this system does not work. The first purchase stopped dispensing 1/2 way thru the jar. The second purchased never dispensed properly. I took the top off and use it as a regular jar.This requires a package redo in my opinion.
