Good writing slope for my son who struggles to write on a flat surface. Could be a little cheaper but wooden products are always a little more expensive, however this was the cheapest one I could find online. Good quality and good size. I would recommend.

Edit as we received a replacement slope after I informed the seller about the issue: We're super happy now with the product and the service! We really like the writing slope as such, it's nicely done, and we would be absolutely happy with the purchase if the silicone strip at the bottom (to prevent paper from sliding down) hadn't starting going off the first time our son used it. He did not pull or do anything inappropriate (I was sitting next to him!), the used glue is just not good enough. So while the board itself is very well done, we find it really annoying that the one thing that should hold a sheet of paper in place has gone off so easily. Disappointing, especially for the price of it.

Great product and great for drawing. The only downside for me was the rubber grip to hold the page was lifting when it arrived.

Bought as a gift for somebody with neck issues, and it has helped, very simple design and product which does what is intended.

Glad I bought this painting board. I do watercolour painting and it’s great to have the angle when applying washes. Easy to remove the support and use it flat. The lip is great to hold paper in place. I use it to stretch my paper using gummed tape, and then while still gummed down I paint on it when dry. The gummed tape is easy to remove afterwards as the wood is nice and smooth. Really useful artists aid and good price. Also very study.

Purchased this for my daughter as it was cheaper than other slopes, but was I left disappointed by the poor finish. Parts of the wood were rough including the actual writing surface. Before I could return the product, my brother managed to sand it down to get it smooth enough so my daughter could actually write on it, but he should not have had to do this! The board also rocks side to side rendering it useless for writing until my brother stabilised it by loosening one of the plastic screws at one end and tightened anther. Poorly finished product which should come with some kind of instructions.

This writing board helps my grandaughter to write. It gives her the ability to sit correctly. It’s sturdy enough to stay in place, whilst she leans on it.

‘Nice’ product except for the cheap plastic strip along the bottom that came off after a couple of uses! A thin strip of wood possibly screwed on from underneath would have finished it off nicely. Not worth £20....

I ordered this item because I was getting a backache hunching over my desk while coloring and card making. I think this will work out for me. I tried doing some coloring last night and I liked the size of the worksurface and the strip at the bottom that keeps pencils from rolling away. Only bad thing is pencils or water brushes can roll underneath the unit because it's totally open. But that's an OK tradeoff for not getting a backache!
