Trijicon RM44 RMR Pistol Mount for All Glock Models

Worked as it should. Hard to install. you might just want to take this to a gunsmith. I bought this thinking, this was in 2 pieces, where you slide the dove tail slot into the slide and screw the plate onto the dove tail, since it came it a set of screws to screw into the dovetail mount. but its not. The whole plate slides into the mount on your slide. Very hard to install.

Got this for mounting Trijicon RMR on my Glock17. It's user installable if you have the right tools. I did not. Took to my local range and the standard tool they had for rear sight adjustment didn't have a deep enough throat to slide this plate into the dovetail, so I had to take it to a gunsmith. I wanted to get the slide machined, but the G17 slide was not quite wide enough. Larger caliber with a wider slide would allow for that though. This is a good option though. Best part is nothing is permanently altered.

If you are getting this until you can afford the time and cost of getting your slide milled, it works. It raises the RMR up significantly and you can not see suppressor height sights in the lens. It is also very tight to get on and off and is too wide to take on and off with my rear sight tool. I had to hammer it on with a wood block and cloth to not scratch my slide.

fits perfect went on straight It is tight enough that it needs to go on with a press or a vise. The rmr needs to be put on first and then installed on the gun. If your rmr has the battery compartment on the bottom it will be a pain, because you will need to take the entire mount off the gun.

Good choice if you do not want to deal with having your slide milled. I chose this because I did not want to lose the ability to practice with the pistol while it was being milled. The instructions say a gunsmith is recommended for installation, but you can install this yourself. The mount holds the Trijicon securely. No problems with anything coming loose after 1500 rounds.

I bought this mount to put the Trijicon RMR on my Glock 21. The mount fit my Glock perfectly and the RMR attached solidly. I bought another RMR and am mounting it on a Weaver mount on my AR 15. If you only buy one red dot scope, look at the Trijicon and this mount for your particular gun.

After beginning to tighten the screws, they stripped with very reasonable force being applied, and I had to use extreme measures to remove and replace them with better metal. Also the screws provided were too long and would have had to be trimmed in order to secure the sight to the mount. Whoever chose the material and length of the screws messed up bad; a really poor design with poor materials.
