great gift even for a seasoned baker!
I bought this book as a gift for my dad who'd read a newspaper article about Warren Brown & was intrigued. My dad has been baking breads, sweets and pies for over 40 years and thought he knew everything there was to baking pies. But...his book has taught him some new tips and tricks and is very well written.

Warren Brown's "Pie Love"
I love the books I have by Warren Brown. He has a way with baking that he expresses so well in his books. I find pies difficult to make but I expect to learn much from his "Pie Love".

Love pie baking
Not as many recipes as I had hoped but, all in all very interesting...haven't baked yet just received this on Saturday....Would like to see more pictures but, I will use the recipes soon. I like old time recipes like onion pie which, is de lish.....Fresh apples are in, so get to baking!!!! Did enjoy the different tops on the pies! Keep it simple!
