Got it as I wasn't sure if my daughter was holding thermometer in her mouth correctly and got a bit fed up that you need to make sure nothing hot or cold is eaten right before the measurement. This one is pretty good as it offers both in ear and forehead option. I was using it side by side with the mouth thermometer to see how accurate it is. At first I found in-ear to be more accurate then forehead, but then I found a section in the manual that refers to the temperature differences, so do read it when you buy it as it explains the difference there. Also the switch from F to C is actually a physical switch hidden inside the battery compartment. The screen is large and easy to view. It lights up too so no need to turn on the light if the child is asleep. It only takes couple of seconds to take the measurement. Pleased with the purchase.

Not sure why Amazon asked me to judge this item’s warmth... weird. Anyway, this is a very good thermometer and hasn’t let us down at all after having it several months. It’s really simple and easy to use, plus there’s the benefit of being well made. Thumbs up all round, except the rating on wamth! 👍

Easy to take my baby's temperature quickly and reliably - lightweight as well so can easily be brought if travelling!

Probably because we no longer have young children at home we never upgraded and was still using a mercury thermometer but this is so easy, quick and presumably accurate. If you haven't got one yet fully recommend.

Since purchase this product has consistently shown low temperature and red light. We have other thermometers that are accurate. We changed the batteries. We simply can't rely on it. Finally we've decided it musr be faulty. Bought in April.. it appears the returns window closed in May....what's that all about?
