Wettex The Original Swedish Dishcloth for Kitchen 10 Pack

These cloths are perfect for my household cleaning. I use in the kitchen because I seem to get water everywhere around the kitchen sink and they are a great size, super soft like a cloth when wet, just wring out and they absorb spills and water like a sponge. They have fun colors and the price is a great value for 10 cloths. They are reusable and last a long time. You can machine wash but I choose not to because they do not mildew and I just rinse them with cold water after use and let them dry.

These Wettex Swedish dishcloths are pure kitchen magic. One cloth absorbs an insane amount of liquid, easily handling a full glass of spilled water with zero drips. They replace paper towels and nasty sponges completely and stay fresh because they dry so quickly. I throw them in the washing machine or dishwasher whenever they need refreshing, and they come out perfect every time. I use them for wiping counters, cleaning windows streak-free, scrubbing dishes, and even as quick trivets for hot pots. After months of constant use, they still look brand new and perform like day one. The assorted colors are cheerful and give my kitchen that clean Scandinavian feel. Ten cloths at this price is an unbelievable deal, and I have plenty to rotate throughout the house. Because of how expensive paper towels have gotten (and because stores were running out of them so often), I did a quick web search for dish towels and came across this amazing product. While I would prefer they be a bit larger in size I love how absorbent they are. I can dry multiple pots/pans without having to wring them out. I can clean the floor, the counter, the walls quickly without worrying about how many paper towels I'm wasting. When I wash my hands, I dry them on one of these instead of wasting a paper towel. When my cat throws up (IBS kitty) I can quickly clean up the mess with these and then rinse it out and let it dry again. You can use them to clean the washing machine or dishwasher and then toss them in to get them clean again. You can dampen them a smidge and use for dusting fan blades, clean leather couches, etc. then wash them out again, dry and reuse. I have one that I keep in the bathroom for cleaning the mirror because it doesn't leave lint streaks like paper towels or towels do and is easier to hold than wadded up newspaper. I take a damp one with me to the beach and keep it in a Ziplock bag so that after I leave I can wipe my hands with it and get the sticky seawater off my hands. So glad I found these. They last for numerous washings and dry so quickly they never get stinky. Plus they are cheap enough that if one of them gets stained, I can easily sideline that one for dusting and get some more later on.

First off, my package did not say "vileda" anywhere on the packaging so I feel these might not be the brand advertised. These dishcloths also do not have that diamond pattern on the back; the pattern on the back is just grooves. I have another dishcloth that was gifted to me for Christmas 2020 and that particular dishcloth has the diamond pattern. Also, my gifted dishcloth is a tad thinner than these "vileda" dishcloths. These dishcloths are thicker but they feel a little more like a sponge as compared to my gifted dishcloth. I am still using the first one from the package I bought, but after a couple of weeks of use, even with a weekly wash in the washing machine, the dishcloth is starting to slightly smell in between the washes. My gifted dishcloth (about 6 months older than these dishcloths) still does not smell in between the weekly washings in the washing machine. I do drape my dishcloths over faucets, etc. to let them fully dry after each use. On the plus side, these dishcloths do absorb liquids quite well and I have used one dishcloth for countless countertop cleanups. Works pretty well as a scrubber (for light to medium scrubbing jobs) too. I really like the decorative pattern and colors too and I am happy that my kitchen got a pop of color, even if the pop of color is a dishcloth draped over the kitchen faucet to dry, lol. With all of that said, I would not buy these particular dishcloths again as I feel that these are misrepresented (besides the branding, have you noticed there is no clear picture of the back side of the cloth?). If I were to buy more Swedish dishcloths, I will specifically look for the thinner ones with a diamond pattern. On the other hand, it looks like these will last a while so hopefully I simply will not need ANY dishcloths for a while. Update - I bumped the star rating from 3 to 4 as I am still using the first dishcloth out of the package I bought and the dishcloth actually no longer gets that lingering smell in between the washings (was I using it for some smelly cleanups or something?) while it is still holding up quite well. I'll take a few dishcloths and gift them to my family whenever I may see them so that they can cut down on their paper waste too. I am amazed how long it now takes us to use 1 roll of paper towels. Intending to keep it that way!

These just make the job easier and I bake sourdough bread alot doesn't stick to this cloth and sourdough cleanup is VERY sticky like glue lol. Washes dishes very well, cleans up easily and lasts a really long time. I will always buy more of these already purchased for a gift they love them as well.

I have heard about these washcloths for years, I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did. Very nice construction, feels good in my hand, just the right size for my needs, wring out well and I can launder them just as a cloth dishrag. They are absorbent even when damp. I bought for my dishes and countertop, but I can see using them all around the house for other cleaning jobs.

These are markedly larger than other brands and this pack comes with 10 vs store brands containing 5 most times. These dry quickly after rinsing or machine washing and are WAY more durable than paper towels. These rinse clean with water but remain soft and do not fray. I am so glad I found these!!

Amazing quality! I put them in the dishwasher every night to keep them fresh and they look brand new! Super cute colours, dry quickly and perfect size!
