I’m not sure if this is a South African orBritish product but if you have ever had it, there are some things that you really need tomato sauce for, Heinz won’t crack it! It’s thicker and more tomato-ey than ketchup. I’ve left South Africa but I’m so happy I can still buy it!

African tomato sauce is so much better than American ketchup that only the price keeps me from switching.It's like American but sweeter, like the Africans use fresh tomatoes or something, and just a hint more spicy than American ketchup. It's just a little bit different but that little bit is a really big thing!!!If not for the price I would never go back to American ketchup. I'll just cry that I can't have my All Gold every time I use ketchup. I'll bring it out for the hamburger and fries and champagne occasions!

I visited South Africa in August and was blown away by All Gold—this is coming from a Pittsburgher (anyone front Pittsburgh knows just how intensely devoted the locals are to Heinz, Heinz being made here after all!). Even I admit that there is no comparison, All Gold just wins. My neighbors would lay me out for this, but it’s just true! I was so pumped to find All Gold on Amazon, but am I crazy, or does the glass bottle version just taste better? I feel like something is lost in the squeeze bottle version. That said, it’s still better than Heinz, I hate to say it but it’s true. For me, the memories of SA and the taste and the healthier ingredients are worth the extra cost. I do recommend it, but I admit I’ll be looking for the glass bottle version in the future!

I discovered this stuff when I visited South Africa in 2013 and fell in love with it, and was so happy to realize I could order it on Amazon here in the states. (Not sure what took me so long to figure this out.) Anyway, the product is great -- a high-quality ketchup that is much sweeter than regular Heinz, Hunt's, or other "American" ketchup. American tastebuds will take a while getting used to All Gold being much sweeter and you might want to switch back and forth between types of ketchup, but I'm very happy to have this in my fridge and will be ordering it again. It was delivered relatively quickly, too.

It’s fall in the average category. I think it needs to be more acidic

I discovered this ketchup while hunting in South Africa. I normally only use ketchup on burgers and fries but tried it on other foods and recipes. Turns out it's a product of South Africa so it's a bit pricy compared to our US products due to import shipping. I use Hines ketchup in cooking recipes but use All Gold Tomato Sauce on food.
