H.O.T. NOT but A-OK
I tried using it with a Nikon D800E and Quantum Turbo T5 Flash. It worked fine but my flash connector would not connect to the turbo. I could have used a straight rather than 90 degree connector and that would have cleared the base of the top frame. I reversed the cork base as one reviewer suggested and it became a H.O.T. NOT frame.. By having the foam handle in my left hand the connector worked because there was no bottom of the frame to bother it...........but now the flash was 1.25 inches off center. SO............I returned the cork base to its normal position and raised the top frame as high as possible and installed the camera so that the frame's foam handle was in my left hand. This put the flash on center with the camera but the camera was a few inches forward and my forehead almost touched the base of the frame and turbo----------but cleared it OK enough. I will use it this way and it is now a H.O.T. NOT but the flash is dead center. This camera flash rig does sit up nicely when I sit it down. This method also distributes the weight better than using it the way it was advertised.

Nice mount, well made
Nice mount, well made. I thought I really wanted a right facing flip with hands on top, but I don't, it' makes it very hard to carry and have your camera on the ready, I'll go hands low and deal with it. I reversed the set-up so it works ok, but not great for my revised use. My fault, I tried something new and it's not for me. It still is a solid unit and worth the money.

Caution: Won't Work With Nikon SB-900 !
Omega Satter Flash Frame FF-400 FlashFlip HOT Hands on Top Camera and Flash Bracket - Omega Flash Brackets Most certainly not worth the money. This is for small speed-lights and regardless of what they say, it won't work off-camera with the Nikon SC-28. The receiver is too small for either the SB-900 or the SC-28.It is lightweight and the fold-over won't support a speedlight like the SB-900, if you could attach it which you can't.Most certainly not worth the money. I'm shipping it to a friend as a gift - the have a Canon speedlight that will fit it.

Dandy flash holder
This piece is made in the USA! It is solid and it is reasonably priced. You can use a quarter inch screw mount to attach it to a tripod if you want to use it in a group shot where you intend to run into the picture. It attaches to the camera via a quarter inch screw mount in the bottom of the camera.I like having it on the right side of the camera because I turn the left side of my camera down when I want portrait orientation of the picture.I am using it with a Canon Rebel XT camera and a huge 550ex or 580ex flash. You need a cord to connect the flash to the camera. The only improvement I would like to see is to have it lock in either landscape or portrait position.

You get what you pay for
Seriously I LOVE this so far. I am a pro and am glad to have found a bracket of good quality like this. The other brackets were twisting and the flash would fall off. I liked this one so much I bought my assistant one as well. Very much a you get what you pay for, on the real avoid those $15 brackets and drop the coin for this one : )

YES
I have a hard time with the other flash frames because they all force you to have your hand turned down when taking a portrait picture but not this one! Arrived on time, works great.
