even nicer than I expected

My builder put a tiled shower in crooked. The wall goes to the ceiling and the left-hand side looks like it's on a 7 day drunk, so something had to be done to offset the mess he made. "#1 builder in the State of Delaware". I'd hate to see what the rest of them would have done. I bought two of these and since they're finished on both sides it was a pretty easy job. Needless to say, we had to shim the left one out considerably to make the wall look straight, then painted the whole thing white with Rustoleum. Worked like a champ and gives the illusion that the entrance to the shower is actually straight. Great fix, a superior product, easy install. Very pleased with this purchase and highly recommended.

Light weight dense foam..good quality casting. Accepts paint and gold leaf nicely. A bit pricey.

Love this! I was looking for a corbel that would work for my library closet that I wanted to convert to a desk alcove. This is beautiful and matches up nicely with fluted molding available at the big box DIY stores. The facial expression is just right, very calming.

The depth reads 6 inches, and the width reads 8 inches. This is actually backward, the depth is 8 inches and the width is 6 inches. I'm honestly disappointed, I needed an 8 inch wide corbel. So if you need an 8 inch corbel also, don't go with this one. Rated it 3 stars because of this. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars. The carving work is beautiful.

Use the corbels to decorate the columns in the front of the house to give the columns a greater presence. The original style of the house is a simple Victorian Creole.
