## Description

A Stegosaurus is any of several herbivorous dinosaurs of the suborder Stegosauria of the Jurassic to the Cretaceous periods, having a double row of upright bony plates along the back, long hind legs, a short neck, and a relatively small head. This giant from the past is brought back to life in a kid-friendly and eco-friendly form. Most Holztiger figures are made of maple. Depending on the nature of the pieces, some are made of oak, beech or birch. Each figure is finished with a water-based, completely non-toxic acrylic paint and sealed with a water based lacquer. Designed and manufactured in Germany.

Beautifully handcrafted.  Hopefully it really is non-toxic!  Not just a straight block, but curves in at the top and is different variations in thickness.  Very detailed especially in the shape, and the picture can't reflect that .  Bright colors like the pic.  My 2 year old loves it!
