A beautiful handmade leather journal for family notes and memories. The paper is thick with a nice texture and feels truly handcrafted. The embossed leather cover, neat stitching, and vintage-style clasps are all very well made. My wife absolutely loves it.

I bought this for my adult child who loves owls 🦉. I will be buying them again as gifts for 6th grade graduates going into middle school (junior high school/intermediate school) as a sign of wisdom. Rough edged pages lend a handmade & old-school/antique look. Leather tooled cover with sturdy latch is so beautiful. The journal pages are not lined so this journal can be for an artist to draw (which is why I bought it). Very well received gift.

This is a very nice little journal. Boight it as a gift and ADDED A TINY LOCK to it that we bought in amazon. The color of the journal is lighter than the pictures on the site.. its not a dark brown but more yellowish brown.. but still really nice. Qe bought a different journal as well hoping qe could also use a lock but the hole was too small so if tou are looking to add a tiny lock this one works. Paper was nice inside as well.

This is really quite a lovely little book. The leather seems solid and well-made, and I didn't have any of the scent issues other reviewers mention. The latch is not a strong latch, but its not too flimsy, either. The details on the outside of the leather binding are beautiful. The unlined pages are made of sturdy and thick paper, which will stand up to pen well and possibly even marker. A few words of caution: The way the pages are bound into the leather means you must be gentle when handling them. This is not a spiral-bound book to be casually ripped open and abused. Also, the listing says 200 pages. I counted the pages in mine. Counting both sides of the paper, I only have 168. That is significantly smaller space to work with! Still giving it four stars because of its elegant design and that it suits my purpose quite well.

Exactly as advertised!

Perfect size for carrying this little journal everywhere. The blank paper is thick and allows you to use all types of pens, markers, stamps, ink, paints, etc without bleeding through. The latch is sturdy and stylish. The leather cover is not a hard cover, it is flexible. Just so you know, if you want a hard cover book this is not it. I love this journal and all the details of it. Would be a great gift for yourself or a loved one!

I'm editing my review as I just sat down to write in my journal which is made perfectly and very impressive but you are only able to write on one side of the paper as the latch on the front makes it impossible to lay the pages down. It's advertisrd as having so many pages because they say you can write on both sides but that is not correct and I'm pretty sure they'd know this. It arrived late. I'm not sure what happened as it said it had been shipped and to be expected for delivery today(Being in that day) but when it didn't arrive I enquired and suddenly it hadn't even been shipped. Then it made it's easy 2 days later so who knows.

Material bom, muito bonito

Some people say or use the word "Leather" in the description of their items but are actually made of a synthetic material. This not one of those items - it really is made of leather (even the pages have leather bindings through them) - so much so - that it was probable wrapped just after being put together - as it still had the strong smell of curing. So for anyone buying this item (which I highly recommend) be sure to open/unwrap it in a well ventilated room and allow it a day or two to air itself out. As I said I highly recommend this product for anyone who would like to keep a diary or journal with a uniqueness to it. My wife loves it - in particular - as the relief on the leather is that of owls.
