With the weather liners (for wet and for cold) installed inside the pants, the pants fits tightly. Without, there is lots of room inside letting you wear jeans underneath. I was skeptical at first if the size of this pant would fit me right, and that I would order the next larger size of it in case it wasn’t. However, as for very few occasion in my life, this was a perfect fit. Let me give you the size for my pants so you know what to expect. I’m about 5’10” tall and wear blue jeans size 38” (tight) with a 30” inseam, weighing about 235 lbs. The material seems very sturdy and it looks like it is a good protection if needed in case of an incident. The pants with all the protective layered liner is heavy and a great barrier against rain and cold. The zippers are working easily and they look like they are sturdy also. I will leave another review after I get some more usage out of it. Hope that this helped a little in making a decision about the size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good fit, but... *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 23, 2018* I went with the regular-length medium since others were saying how short they were, and I measure it at 32" inseam (I normally wear a 30" inseam jeans). So I figured the "extra" 2 inch of length would be enough for the bent knee riding position of my FJR. What I didn't realize is the over-pant design causes me to wear them above my belt on my under-pant (jeans) which brings up the inseam higher than usual, and thus it is too short still. IF they made a long version at 34" inseam, that would be perfect. Getting the large only gets another +0.5" to length. Otherwise the fit is good, a bit stiff (expected at this price point), but the leg zippers on the liners are not long enough for boots(sz10). rear zipper zips right to left as you are looking at it from behind (opposite my Olympia jacket) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfortable riding pants *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 30, 2017* Very comfortable riding pants!
