He believes that he can “reform women through paternalistic care and guidance.” Thus he created Paternas where men are Daddy’s that help guide women on a more positive path. But he has met his match with Kit. Kit is the rebel leader and the one that he chooses as his ward but she is not going to be broken by him. She knows how to mask her feelings and will not be kept.I get that Roman really doesn’t want to break Kit and that he wants to better what society has destroyed. Kit has a lot of fight and I so enjoy that. It’s hard to let what is ingrained in you be let go. Slowly parts of the hurt and anger fade. But there is always a wrinkle in happiness. It is always irritates me. People just want others to be as unhappy as they are and will do anything to snatch that happiness away even to be cruel. So, yes I did want to scream big time during a couple of parts and cry in others. At first I thought Roman would close a blind eye but he protection goes beyond. And you have to love a man for that. But man did I want to see someone deck a certain someone.The only thing I wish we got to read about is Kit seeing Trina. We are missing how that reunion turned out. And what of Jenny. Hopefully we will have more to come.

OMG Ms. Sinclair is back with her daddy books and better than ever. Love the Sci-Fi aspect of this story. Kit is such a great character and her Daddy is a good caretaker. He is brilliant and a visionary. The world building is out of this world. I loved all the techy items throughout the story. The background is laid out quickly and efficiently so you can get into the heart of the story. I was so glad Roman went back for his twin. Her hubby was the worst. Loved the ending and the possibility of more stories in this world.

I enjoyed this story of the world that was devastated after asteroids destroyedmuch of earth. The world of New Bethel has been sectioned off and developedinto a land ruled by men where women are to be submissive and live only for thepleasure of their men. Kit is a leader of the rebels that live in what's left after thedestruction, called The Warrens, but Kit has been grabbed by the authorities andis being sent to Paternas where an experimental social order is being developedto help condition the women to a new way of thinking, along with a new outlookon life. The women are given Daddies to help them live the childhood they missedout on and learn to feel again. Roman has a twin sister Felicia, who is married toMarcus, a not so nice man who has some standing and power in New Bethel, buther and Roman's dad is an Elder in the Order of Patriarchy. Senator Roman Daleyhas chosen Kit as his, and starts her training and conditioning as Kit's Daddy. Heseems to be concerned and considerate while also giving Kit what she needs, notnecessarily what she wants, but she has no idea what life could be like, she's beena leader and has to be strong. Kit's walls need to be taken down before she canbe built back stronger and steadier. Roman is a real sweetheart, he cares for Kitand isn't mean, although he is stern in order to help her blossom and grow as a woman.Kit is a bit rebellious but Roman expected that. I really loved Roman's handling ofKit and Kit's willingness to learn to feel and adjust to her new life. In the end, afterall the angst and some upheaval with other shady characters, this was a very goodstory, leaving me feeling happy and gratified for all involved with Roman and Kit.

This is a well developed post apocalyptic world where the majority of the men are in charge. Some men are even dominant and can lure submission from their "wards" who have been snagged and given no real choice about what happens to them but find happiness with the right man. Excellent characters and story just add to this romance.

While I did enjoy, well, mostly, I just feel that it could have been more.I was excited to read this story when I started it but it but I feel it falls a little flat.I would've liked more background on Roman & Kit

The story was good. The characters were strong and believable. The plot was good. It could have been a little more complex, but based on the length of the book it had all the markers leading to a happy ending. There were grammatical errors that should have been picked up by a edit review. Overall it was a short love story with some bdsm DD/lg aspects.

Set in a world that has been dramatically altered due to an apocalyptic event, DADDY'S WORLD is a quick read that will keep you intrigued. New Bethel is a place where women are raised and taught to be subservient to men ... they are seen but not heard.Senator Roman Daley has decided that it is time for a change. He has set up another society on Patenas, where women are trained to think and act differently. It is where women are cherished and loved. Kit was a rebel leader in the Warrens, a city in which survivors lived amongst the rubble and ruins. A city where women need to be strong. She is captured and sent to Pateras to be reconditioned for her new life.Roman and Kit's relationship is a different one. He is to be her Daddy, she must follow his rules otherwise there will be consequences. But there is another side to this relationship where Roman shows that tenderness and caring also exists. Kit is a challenge that Roman delights in. Feelings are explored and Kit's emotions are put to the test. This is truly a wonderful story, it shows the care and affection of Roman and the emotional growth of Kit. It shows how Roman is able to break the barriers that Kit has had to build in order to survive in The Warrens.Although this is not a genre that I would normally read, I did enjoy this story.
