YOU DO NOT NEED THIS BOOK!
"Hacking the LSAT" breaks down every question in the LSAT. In essence, it tries to explain why the correct answers are the right one, and why the wrong answers are not. When I was preparing for my LSAT, I came across Blake's books, and without really thinking about it, I bought a bunch of his books. Man, was that a mistake! You don't really need his books or any other similar kinds of books that tries to breakdown the LSAT questions. What you need are books that lays out how you can tackle LSAT questions i.e. books that teaches you specific strategies on how you can approach or answer the LSAT - and Blake's books DO NOT teach you those.I say that you don't really need Blake's books, because once you have the general grasp of what the LSAT tests, you will immediately know why A is the correct answer and not B or C or D or E. You do not need a book to explain why. Once you have the specific strategies on how to approach the LSAT, correct and wrong answers to LSAT questions will become apparent to you.YOU DO NOT NEED THIS BOOK. Of course it can still become a handy supplement to your studies, but I'd advice against it. By the way, I was a complete self-study, largely because I couldn't afford the 3K LSAT courses. I scored 160 the first time in December 2015, and 165 the second time in February 2016.

Want an advantage on the LSAT? This is like legal cheating. A definite LSAT loophole.
Paid Full price. I am skeptical of any review where that isn't the case.Pros:Fantastic tool for not just improving your score, but also improving your understanding of the LSAT.By seeing how Graeme thinks as he does each problem is...priceless. These books (I've bought them all and reviewed most) help you take your score to the next level. And by that I mean:From hoping to get accepted to expecting financial aid packages. Want to be more competitive for your 'reach' schools? Then reach for these books. They will help you beat the LSAT.Cons:Beating the LSAT isn't necessarily a Pro.May improve your score enough to where you think you 'have to' go to law school. Law School sucks. Being a lawyer sucks. The people in general are unhappy. And it only gets worse after you graduate. The happy lawyer is an exception, not the rule.

Is the book helpful? Yes!
A previous review stated that book was not helpful and one does not need the book. I disagree. Logic Games are like math with variables and constants. If your math teacher marked up your answers and never explained to you the reasoning behind the wrong answer, you could possibly be spinning your wheels all day trying to figure out where within the problem you fell short. So it is when explanations are provided; it helps to set the test candidate up for the proper working framework. I have used several LSAT prep texts. Some with explanations, and some merely tests. I prefer both--both to test my working framework against those who already mastered the concepts. Besides, this is what Law School is about in your first year, ranking among the brightest thinkers! So order the book already or visit his website!
