I am so glad I waited
These were shipped from China and took about month to arrive. They have improved my crocheting. I am so glad I waited. They do break easily, but I found that if you do not attempt to close them like a safety pin, but instead twist them around to the head of the safety pin, they do not easily break. I recommend them. I even bought extras for my friends.

I wish I could say I'm glad I did
I was hesitant to order these after seeing so many negative reviews, but for a couple bucks, I decided to give them a try.I wish I could say I'm glad I did, but unfortunately, I'm very disappointed. They arrived quickly and all 100 pieces were there. I do really like the bright variety of colors as well. Those are the only positive things for me.I was really excited to try these out on the blanket I'm crocheting. I've had to replace them every row. They are incredibly stiff and brittle. They don't break going on, but trying to get them back off they snap. I can't even get them to lock, they just don't fit together. I have to set everything down and use both hands and carefully try to pry it apart enough to squeeze the yarn through, and it seems like the second the yarn touches it, it snaps.I'll use these and maybe eventually I'll get one that lasts more than one row, but I won't buy them again.Comparing them to Clover, they are slightly larger and the plastic is so incredibly brittle. I've never felt like the Clover ones would break, these ones remind me of the hard plastic forks I always end up with at picnics that end up breaking on a hot dog.

So helpful!
These have been so helpful while Learning about the first and last stitch of a row. Now I use them for a variety of other crocheting markings. You do need to be a bit careful if you close the "safety pin" because it is a brittle type of plastic. I broke quite a few at first because I was heavy handed with them. I soon got the hang of using them more carefully and not closing so harshly.

It's good that these are so cheap for a large amount of them as they break very easily and are usually only one time use. They do get the job done though and the assorted colors are cute.

Junk
I understand these came from China so the shipping wait was not too much of a concern for me. However, I was hesitant because of all the reviews saying they broke upon use. I figured I would give them a chance for the price. 100 for around 3.00 seemed like a good deal. These however have turned out to be JUNK!Several were broken in the package, which was fine because I counted and there were more than 100 pieces, so I let that slide. I put them on the corners of the baby blanket I am working on, so 8 stitch markers. I tapped one against my leg when putting my knitting on my lap to work and it broke. I let that slide. I got to the first corner that had them on them and went to take them off and they snapped! I removed ever stitch marker on the blanket currently and EVERY SINGLE ONE SNAPPED!I will continue to use these for now, but I am looking into a different brand/company

If you really need a row marker it works great, and if you need multiple ones on a work it's very handy, however, once you latch it, it can be very difficult to get it back off. That isn't hard to work around though and all in all it's very handy.

Very handy!
I've been knitting and crocheting for many years, but haven't used this type of stitch marker before. I really like that I can mark both the stitch and/or the row, and can still be removed later. Although safety pins could also be used (what I've used until now), these are a bit easier to use, and I like the colors.

Cheap and Impractical Copy
The stitch markers are so small and stiff that it is hard to get them closed (you really have to struggle to get it closed). These are very impractical for use and will break easily. These are a cheap imitation of the clover ones. Save yourself some trouble, pay a bit extra and buy the clover ones. In my photo, the clover are on the left and this item is on the right. That should give you an idea of size. I am returning mine now. I'd also like to note that these ship from China, so be prepared to wait quite a while for your items.

Do not buy - waste of money
The plastic on these is far too brittle and break whilst trying to secure. Out of 100 I have salvaged only 16 so far! Do not buy - waste of money.
