Mimic Color Root Touch Up Grey Hair Concealer Black Root Cover Up

Ordered the medium brown color, coverage was decent after a few layers of application. Problem is that its waxy and smells awful. Will def not buy again.

Easy to apply to your roots. Will not transfer color to your pillow while sleeping or sweat off. Will wash off each time you shampoo your hair.

I first bought this from one of the shopping networks but then they quit carrying the brand. It's very hard to find in RED!! I've been using it for about 4 years & I think it's totally awesome!! It extends my color job by at least 10 days - 2 weeks ( depending what mood I'm in & don't feel like coloring) . It absolutely does not come off on my satin pillow cases or anyplace else. It covers my grey-almost white roots very well. I am a light auburn redhead but it can be used on ANY color red. I do have past-my-shoulders length hair so if you have very short or thin hair you may have to use more of the product. I only apply it at my forehead back to my crown.

Great job covering growing out grays. Very easy to use. Not sticky when applied and stays on. I used around face and sides where accuracy was important but could use on part. I would highly recommend.

I bought this when I was growing out my Gray. It was greasy and didn't adhere well to my hair....as in I couldn't even get it to stick. A dry colored powder spray would be a better bet for me. It can't be returned after opening....which makes it difficult to even know IF it will work for you, until after you've tried it and wasted $20+ Dollars on it. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I was very disappointed with this product! :(

Not perfect, but does the trick. If you have lots of hair, it doesn't last long - but covers up roots decently.Stays until washed out with shampoo...but does fade a bit over time (as does ANY dye/colorant).

Mimic goes on a bit 'waxy' which is why I love it. It doesn't look 'waxy' but it STAYS put once you apply it to your roots. It doesn't weigh down hair, come off on pillows, or color your scalp. It goes where you want it, stays where you put it, and blends to the point that I can't tell where I applied it. I've used Mimic for several years with hard-to-cover gray (white hair, really) and although at times I've been cajoled into trying other products I always return and am always exceedingly glad I did. I should carry extras in my purse to share because if someone's going to take time to color her or his graying hair, then the roots should never be a give-away! Did I mention I LOVE MIMIC?!

My friend told me about this product so I bought it. This works and it is better than anyting else on the market to cover the grey. I used to color my hair more often, but after discovering this amazing product I can go with a grey hairline covered up with Mimic for double the time. I also like the color -- it look pretty natural. Thank you!

Have used this product for years, covers my greys at the front really well and looks natural, bit expensive, but lasts for ages, well worth the money
