We didn't use the legs with ours--it was more stable for our 2 year old that way.

Does this fit flat against a wall, or does it need to go in a corner?

It Will Fit Great Flat Against A Wall Or You Can Place In A Corner. Mine Is Against The Wall. Just Make Sure The Fridge And Oven Door Opens Easily If Placed In A Corner Due To The Angled Sides.
