Great tool for the price.
This tool works perfectly. I have never used one before and I was able to use it first try just from the directions on the back. I used it to attach several handles, paddle holders and eye hooks to my kayaks. I did purchase longer rivets as the ones that came with it were not long enough to reach through the kayaks and the thickness of the handle attachment. I did have to do 3 presses on each rivet. You have to push it back down tight after each press. I occassionally had to squeeze the handle a couple times to get the end to pull back out after it popped. No jams and I can press it with my hand strength easily. I am very happy with it.

Works Like a Charm
This can be a very handy tool, and pop rivets are cheap, too. I remember my Father using one of these a lot many years ago, but it seems to have apparently fallen by the wayside in popularity. I never used one, didn't know how they really worked, so I went on YouTube and watched a video on how to use one, didn't look too hard, so I bought this one and used it with great success on some vinyl siding and guttering last summer, worked like a charm. They can also be used to pull nails in some situations. This is a nice tool to add to one's collection of tools, and its uses seem pretty unlimited. You only have to use your imagination.

The Tekton 655 Rivet Gun came in as described and works wonderfully. This set also comes with 40 rivets in various sizes, which comes in handy and allows it to be used right out of the box. The product itself is very high quality and built to last. For the price I would recommend this product to anyone who is in the market for a rivet gun, or just to purchase to have this useful tool when the opportunity arises. This has earned a permanent place in my tool box and has come in handy on multiple occasions that I did not expect to need one. Great product!

Well made, smoothly functioning tool
Caught by surprise...biught as an afterthought not knowing where my old rivet too is, I did more than a double take. The mailer for this felt way to heavy to be a rivet tool... nope this is just a did well crated tool. Installed a long needed replacement handle on RV awning in under a minute.Tool is heavy, adds confidence the way a nicely crafter tool can be...does its job effortly and properly.Add this to your order. it works as well as any $50+ rivet tool I've ever used and fells as if it's going to be a lifelong addition to my gear bag.

Mostly works. Does pop rivets on nice and tightly, but keeps stems locked in the tool.
Well, it works. Most of the time. Main issue I am having is that the jaws do not release the leftover stem after the rivet pops. I had to take this apart twice, just installing 6 rivets, to pull out the stems. and it is a little frustrating to get those jaws and springs lined back up perfectly and get the lock pin back in, to say the least. they were only 3/32" rivets too!Overall, I do not have a high demand for rivets, and this did do the the job I needed. It was not a smooth operation, however.

Got the Job Done!
I was looking for a rivet gun to attach my daughters bumper to her car. This one looked ideal because it was affordable and came with an assortment of rivets. I was very pleased with it when it arrived. It is quite sturdy. However the rivets were fairly short. However I found longer rivers in large box of bolts in the garage. It got the job done! It has a small wrench that would be handy for removing the adapter for the different size rivets. It tends to fall out of the little pocket where it's stored. Aside from this minor nit this was great and I would easily buy it again.

Very disappointing
Looked nice. Seemed like it might be good quality, but I should have known; you get what you pay for. The first rivet popped and the rivet shank would not eject. I pushed it through with another rivet with little effort and inserted the second one. Again; popped and the shank broke in the wrong place. This time the shank would not eject and was difficult to remove from the jaws. I noticed the jaws had broke, rendering the tool useless. Luckily; my father had a nice rivet gun he brought over so I could finish the job. One star because the product looked nice, but no more because the actual quality is super poor.

Works great
This is a handy, inexpensive and easy to use pop rivet gun for light projects around the house. When using it, squeeze slowly and steady in order to keep the rivet seated and get a clean break of the stem. If the stem doesn't break off then you could grab it with pliers and bend it back and forth until it breaks or cut it with a pair of dikes. There is a good variety of rivets that come with the rivet gun.
